I'm getting one from buygame2 in HK. They are my favorite import shop and I purchase alot of things though them (my jpn 360 came from them). Anyways I have one on reserve. I dont ever plan to open it since Final fantasy stuff tends to become a collecters item quite easly (specialy something that will be in limited print).
Where on the site is it? I can't find this thing for pre-order anywhere. GameChoiceClub got back with me... but I have no idea if they knew what they were talking about (not the most coherent email I've ever recieved, but if they get one of these into my grubby hands, more power to 'em).
~$200, damn. I'd love to reserve one but hell if I've got the cash. Maybe come closer to mid August...
Its not listed yet. They told me via email they will get some. Since I am a regular with them I was able to get them to hold one for me and just email me the total when they find it out. ncsx.com atm is accepting preorders at $250 but I think that will rise.
Interesting that they pick 3D over sprites. I wonder what the reason for this is? Does the conversion to 3D models alter the game play at all?
a) They don't care about the English speaking fans who have been waiting for a proper translation for a decade and a half. b) They think (like Sony) that no one will buy 2D games. c) They think that all remakes should be "new and improved" for no particular reason. d) Supposedly the source to the original game was lost and they are too lazy to reconstruct the original game.
I had it pre-ordered but then I was told its going to cost around $400. Sadly, I really cannot afford a $400 DS right now. Maybe later I hope...
Does anyone have any good pictures of the DS Lite black? I'd like to see it since I was going to sell my black DS for a black DS lite or a FF DS Lite.
Yeah... NCSX and Game Choice Club both told me to wait for a couple of weeks for the price to go down. So thats what I'm going to do. :nod:
If I turn out to be the only person who canceled their pre-order because the sites "recommended" I do that... and then they don't have one for me in 2 weeks like they told me they would... ... then, NCSX and Game Choice Club are going to have one VERY pissed off customer.
