If it got lost in the mail when you didn't pay for insurance when it was offered it wasn't my fault, nor can it be expected to be. Fortunately it did turn back up, but time and money is giving nme trouble getting it back out.

I did get paid last week, but if you recall literally 2 days after getting paid I got mugged and I'm £3k down, what spare money was left after paying 2 months of bills is now gone.

It was always both, it's why I had to wait untill pay day. Also don't forget the post office is open 9 - 5 and I work the same hours, so I can't go before or after work and it's only marginally doable at dinnertime if I don't eat!

Probably won't happen - macwests has all the stamps etc paid for, my last £10 went on a weeksaver bus ticket, I don't even have any money for food at work so a colleague has bought me dinner the past 2 days and being the nice chap they are they will buy me dinner untill my situation is sorted out.

If you're still not happy I'll come up with some kind of miracle and refund you your £400 if you send back the Mac Mini + the ipod in the same condition they left.

To add to the problems a package I already mailed to america last time which cost £50 to ship (and I did free shipping ... grr) for whatever reason was rejected by us customs and I've got to mail that out again and a pack I mailed to austria almost got shipped back, mostly because the post office never told them they had it so luckily they gotn it the day before it was returned, but a component somehow came loose inside the case and destroyed some of the electronics inside, so I've also got to sort something out for that too (it was insured, but I put a lower value so customs wouldn't charge a large fee, bah!). Added to that everyone paid for their stuff with paypal and I can't bank it meant I had to use what little peanuts I had in my wallet to get stuff out as and when I had the time/could afford it.

As you can see there are many problems that only time will be able to work out, I hope to have every last issue resolved within the next couple of weeks, it's not nice when all this shit happens, especially all in close proximity but shit happens and usually I'm in the thick of it =/

I've never in my time here or anywhere ever ripped any one off nor do I ever intend to, but when the tides get rough it just needs to be ridden out

 

Well the package was covered for £30 via normal postage had you kept proof of postage...

Just please sort it out this week or next. I cant be made to wait another month for things i paid for along time ago.

Also maybe you should consider not selling things for a while if you really cant get to the post office.

 

There was no proof of postage and it was never asked for when you bought it, it's a separate form that needs to be filled out and stamped, but as it was never requested it was never done either. Anyhow, enough of that, it came back to me anyway it will get dealt with sooner or later but I have bigger problems to deal with for now.

Then as I said above send back the Mac mini + ipod in the same condition I sent them in and I will issue a refund.

If I can't sell things when I'm skint then I can't afford to do things everyone else takes for granted, ie: eat!!

 

Will my package be sent too? I didn't know about the problems above until now. I wasn't offered insurance.

 

Thats why you dont let others take care of your package. You must have a day off once in a while, or a lunch break even to drop off a package. last time i had my mother ship out a package, it almost got lost, thank god it turned up.

 

Since nothing has showed up can I assume that has all three items in it( 1400,NES PROTOTYPE Dizzy and Genesis PROTOTYPE Gargoyles) ?

 

Yeah - it worked out better to throw them all in the same box, They were packed up in Jiffy bags but the dtl-t14k I didn't have a box the perfect size to prevent damage, so I got a slightly larger box and threw in the protos as added padding, atleast the pack is paid for now it's just a matter of getting it to the post office to send it. Benedict - Your 2050 really isn't as heavy as a lot of the other items so I could probably dig deep into the copper jar and have it sent out (by my mother) this week too Borman - the only day I get off work is when it's a public holiday, but the post office is usually closed on those days too!

 

Man, that sucks. You gotta ask for a day off lol.

 

Ill tell you what sucks its the the way im being ignored for something i paid for over 2months
ago and hes still offering to send other peoples packages before mine. I would offer to pay postage again but even then im wondering if its ever going to make it to the post office.

Legit its fine to sell things when your skint but its not ok to sell things without telling people you cant go to the post office and when you do its someone else handling the package.

Also it would be nice to know when you cant/dont post things. I keep having to send you pms to check the status of my package.

Lastly if your so broke i dont see how you could issue me a refund of the mac mini anyways.

 

I already mailed it once, others which havent been mailed yet and are lighter (therefore cheaper) are going out 1st.

 

Erm, to mod the mods, do you not think this should be taken to PM's and off the public forum?

A few more items may go in the mail tomorrow, But also I'm working tomorrow too (overtime#) so I can't guarantee what else will / won't go out tomorrow, it all depends on whatever my mum takes with her and how far the wallet will stretch.

 

Tell me when the single controller port goes out. Hopefully it won't be too much to send.

About a week, shouldn't be much more When my mum originally got it weighed she was asked if she wanted it shipped by boat, with an estimated 6 months journey -_-

No worries and thanks for your patience Was a lot of stamps on there though eh? I'd have figured they would have printed off a single stamp but oh well hehe - gave me a bit of a dry tongue after licking them all Have you managed to install the DTL-T14k yet? Did everything arrive in good condition?

 

Everything arrived fine. great packing job. As for install one of these days. Had a friend from the past show back up so we are off building a n scale layout on my free time.
