Nice one. I kinda skipped through the video but my feedback is that you need to speak up and lower the background music. Other than that, thumbs up!

Oh, and it would have been cool if you showed the disc not working before, and then working after (if that was the case)... but no biggie.

 

Yes always make sure narration is clear (close to the mic) and the main sound, background music should be kept to a low minimum and remember a clear narration takes precedence over music, it might be better to not even use any as IMHO music is subjective and people are not tuning in for that anyway they are tuning in for the info.

I find it funny that they make HD capture devices yet only let you connect systems to it via composite (should never be an option for HD) and S-Video.

I like watching your videos but you really need to sort out the volume of your voice overs. I know sometimes it's hard to get quiet time to do voice overs as I have my son and wife about at home which really limits my time doing the voice overs for Retro Core. Either I can wait for them to bugger off out or do them at night when they are asleep. The later option is not so good because then I end up with a quiet voice like on your videos.

I watched your video about the mic. I think the sound quality was better via the camera's built in mic.

 

I did notice that but I think it as because I wasn't using it correctly. I use the new mic in my let's play's, take a look and see/hear, I think it has a bit more range than my clip on one.
