Ok,i've test and i've found again! That's strange problem, but my gdemu has started to flash in orange, the console refused to boot, I was very afraid !! I had the idea to remove my bba and my console has rebooted, phew !! I handed my bba, I made a flash reset, and now Kiss and MTV are working very well !! it's boring to see if a device is malfunctioning, the gdemu going badly too, with my tests it was possible to get see! with EMS adapter wireless controller, Tomb Raider 4 and 5 black screen, and with a non BBA reset to factory, this bug !!Thanks all for your attention,my love of France!

If you have misaligned your card and inserted it in such a manner that the system detects your card as read-only AND you have the firmware on the SD-CARD it will go into firmware update instead.

Hi, new to this forum...I have been directed here from a user in the GDEMU blog. I'm curently transferring my collection of dreamcast games to multiple SD cards and have encountered issues whilst doing so.

One I have not been able to fix is whilst trying to play Centipede. I have tried multiple versions available on the net both cdi/gdi version (Centipede v1.004 (1999) (Hasbro).gdi & CentipedeNTSC.cdi..).

I have a PAL dreamcast which is set to developer bios (region free),using GDEMU 5.4 on FW 5.7.0. Using a 32GB SanDisc Class 4 SDHC card. Tried both Scart/VGA.

The game loads on the GD Menu, disc image art even shows with the GDI version, but once clicked on i all load then move to the sega screen and after about a second yw screen flickers and the screen shifts down 50% and is half off screen then resets to the DC dashboard not long after.

I was highlighting this as i thought other's may have encountered this issue before with this game.

If anyone can help plz reply. I cannot locate any other versions online to test myself.

Other issues I had with not using official controller when booting:
    ------------------------------------------
So far I have only encountered issues with 4x4 Evolution, Bang Gun Ship Elite & Championship Surfer. All which would hang at a VMU loading screen - This was fixed wth use of an official Dreamcast controller as I use a wireless PS2 controller with adapter.

I would hope with the combined help of all GDEMU users we could create a troubleshooting/compatibility guide for all games and versions of them and their use with the GDEMU. All my findings I will document on here.

    Thanks people

for Centipede the problem is the console i believe note the GDEMU (Edit: Tested on Pal console with Region Patch works perfect)

about the 4x4 Evolution, Bang Gun Ship Elite & Championship Surfer,

i tested the Bang Gun Ship Elite and if i don't have the VMU the game hangs i tested the same on 2 emulators on the pc and same thing happens,
can any one with this games on disk confirm that the games works without VMU on normal dreamcast also any one with the USB-GDROM can test this games?

I hate to be THAT guy, but I haven't been here for like the past 50 some-odd pages. Would someone be kind enough to give me a basic summary of the status of things?

Oh. It's THAT guy. Hi. Met you a few hundred other times in other forums across the Internet. Nice to see you again.

Luckily, you only had to click your mouse three tiresome times, and scroll a wee bit to get filled in . . .

As stated before you have to be more specific:

    . Dreamcast Region (EU/US/JP))
. Game region or release name (Trurip)
    . Original BIOS or modified
    . Output: RGB/VGA
    . Format GDI/CDI
    . Devie, USB or GD-EMU
    . Firmware version
