Only thing I would add to this list is whether a device supports disk swap or not (For D2 in particular and then Action Replay/Codebreaker/Gameshark /DC-X/Bootdisk etc)

That's something that is of interest to me as well, mainly how do you use gameshark/action replay with the GDEMU? I haven't hooked mine up yet so haven't done any experimenting, also could you post a link to your SD Card tool once again? You should put a link in your signature for anyone else looking.

 

New firmware for GDEMU is out 5.8.0 with folders up to 9999

 

Wait for version 5.81, it should be out soon.
There's a problem if your using GDmenu. When you start a game it goes thru the loading process, but then cycles back around to the menu again.

now that he released the cat out of the bag.. and raised the GDEMU folder limit to well unless you get a 1TB sd card working and download Every alt version of every DC game... you wont probably fill up... but yea... has anyone tried the a 256gb card yet? or has anyone filled a 128gb card and made sure they all worked?

Folder Limit of 9999..... what more could you ask for?

So how many gigs is a full usa gdi set? Although 256gb cards are still too expensive at the moment.

It'd be pretty easy to make a script that'd convert all the GDI on a sd-card to use 2048 bytes per sector tracks and dummy low density tracks in order to save a bit of space.
I might try to do that once I have a bit of free time.

It should even be possible with harder work to somehow save more space by either cleverly cancel dummying or rebuild the GDI.

 

Ive just clicked the and downloaded again (Chrome) and im still getting version 1.02 with the 18-10-2014.txt. I then loaded up Explorer and downloaded the file and got 1.03, odd

 

Not odd, just Chrome. Chrome is the new IE.
