oh wow, that shot of the stairs is very odd (in a good sence) What settings did you use for that?

    Thanks ^^.

Erm, as per the EXIF; 18mm (27mm on 35mm film), f/5.6, ISO 250... that's it

What exactly is "odd" about it, or what settings do you want to know about? ;)

Did you have the hipster dial turned all the way up?

Actually, looking at the image at home it doesn't look that odd. For some reason, on my crappy laptop at work it looked as if it was one of those real life mini type shots. The prospective just looked really odd. Must have been the poor display on the PC I was using.

I'm still growing my hair out... when I get there, I can unlock further hipster mods

Shame, I thought Id' done something clever! Either way, I tried to take an interesting shot, not just document me using some stairs :)

I'm not saying it's a bad picture though. It just looked different at work. The best aspect I like about the stairs shot are the shadows. You could probably creep that shot out with some cleaver post production.

I'm not sure if anybody here ever actually watched PRIDE FC, but they had some really awesome posters back in the day.

I've taken a look at a few of the shots. Some of them are lovely but I'll have to give up in seeing all until I get home tonight.

So fucking smoggy -- you guys in Tokyo got a taste of that last week though! The city has character. I will give it that. Doubt I could live there but could visit continually no problem.

Im scheduled to be home in time to take a million obligatory sakura photos.

We had that crap down here. Thanks China! Wash the car, the next day it's covered in shit. Not a happy man.

It's the same every year though. All the crap and sand blows over from China this time of year without fail.
