Try riding your bike through it. I know I shouldn't, but that's mainly what I think of when I'm riding in the streets, looking up 10,20, 30 stories at buildings that aren't necessarily that new.

Well, I 'escape to work' too. Just shut the door and say I'm buys. Just b/c I do it from home doesn't make it any less 'shigoto'. :)

Oh, man. I'm going to have to send the wife on vacation at least once a quarter. "Day one" was great. Took a bit off work early, went to the 50 yen arcade in Shibuya for a few hours, went and threw down some messican food and washed it down w/ a pitcher of Margaritas. Went and had a beer. Parted ways w/ my friend, and went back to the arcade until midnight. Home, a little TV... passed out.

One of the guys I work with who's stationed in the states (still doing Asian products) didn't tell his wife about a Korean holiday. He basically acted like he was going to work and went straight to the bar w/ some friends. His wife just happened to call the office looking for him. O_O

Can anyone post pics of G-Front, Mak Japan, and Try. I'd appreciate it if anyone can post pics of the inside so I can see what they look like.

Other than Try (which is amazingly small), their respective websites have pictures of them. mak-jp.com, gfront.com

You're welcome. I'll be doing a bit of traveling around Japan with my parents when they come over in October so expect more pictures then.

It's been a while since I added any pictures to this thread so this week I've been grabbing a few shots with the phone.

Here you can see an not so well off area built up on a mountan. Just look at how packed those homes are !

In this area you can easily tell they have a lot more cash. More space, bigger homes and even the apartments look expensive.

Here's a lovely shot of the sun trying to shine through the rain clouds.

This is the result of what happens why you're a Japanese driver  These two tits managed to crash in to each other when both lanes had red lights !

My nephew (Who's a little sod) thought it would be a great idea to shove this bloody thing right in my face! Man, I hate Japanese kids and their fascination with bloody insects

Nice photos, especially the first one.

Boys and their bugs huh. First time I went to the in-laws up in Akita's backwaters I ended up faced with a huge amount of mushi thrust in my face then in the evening was taken along on a spider hunt, saw the biggest damn spider sitting in the road, body the size of a golf ball!

I've got some good ones but they're from Hawaii. Tried the same thing in Yoyogi park when I was dicking around w/ my cameras modes. Of course, I screwed the shot up. I need to just print out the damn manual and take it w/ me.

Memories are coming back to me ^_____^ Sooooo great that was when Japan appeared on those typical onboard screens :)
...and I coulnd't resist to hop on a train to Akihabara for a 7hr shopping & gaming day after my 20hrs of travel. I'd do it again every time =)

I've only seen a screen like that once. Every other time was the other way.
