DCharlie, do you have a high resolution (16:9 if possible) version of that Red Cloud image? It's fantastic and would look great on my laptop.

That's fantastic mate. My laptop in is the car at the moment and I'm too lazy to go and get it so I'll pop that image on to a USB stick and install it tomorrow.

Idiots! I can't stan the way the shorten everything or the way they us English to invent some new stupid meaningless word such as New Half. How the fuck did they come up with that shit? For those who don't know, New Half means tranny/ladyboy/digrace :).

    Yakumo

The other day I said "you have" to some guy who wanted to speak English. He thought I said "new half". For those that don't know, new half is a stupid Japlish word which means tranny/ladyboy/disgrace :)

Actually I like acronyms, but of course they can become tedious when you want to find something (i.e. a yahoo auctions). AKUDORA or SUTOFATSU come to my mind. -.-

I hate them and hate them even more in japan because they use them in every day life. Most of the time it's near impossible to know the meaning or if looking for something a right pain in the arse trying to figure out what the acronym is

I've been to Singapore and to be honest apart from the old woman in the cinema who kept going from English in to Chinese, it was fine. Everyone spoke English well. Even better for me as it was British English.

Once I went to Australia. While there I went to Burger King. Behind the counter was an aborigine lady. Could I fuck understand a thing she said. Again in the train station I had trouble understanding what platform the train was arriving at. I thought the guy (White guy) said Platform 8 but he actually said Platform A :(

Nice -- although I would've said to stay away from outdoor photos this past weekend. Hazy as balls! I went to Roppongi Hills observation deck. You could only see the silhouette of the Shinjuku skyline from the smog.

EDIT: Nice van. :/ Where was that?

Yeah, was kinda hazy today, but got the device yesterday so hat check it out in nature today anyway :)

Lol, that van is in my neighborhood, in an allotgarden on the hill. From were you can see directly to the landmark tower. Those pictures are all taken within 200m radius from our mansion.
