Staying with the hipster theme, here's a picture I took the other day on the way home from work.



Looks quite nice I think. Taken on the poor camera of the iPhone 3Gs then improved with the Photoshop Express app.

Definitely looks better w/ the filter.
Check out Camera+. It's like $1.99 in the US store but it's worth it. ANother $.99 for the "I Love Analogue" filters. Saves them in full resolution, and you can set how much of the filter you use... basically a dry/wet setting. Even if you want to just take pictures, it's worth it as it's leaps and bounds better than the default camera, and has some other tools for the shot alone.

gaijinPunch, that really is a good app. I love the point to focus and separate White balance options.

Well worth buying for every iPhone user IMO. The added retro filters are also excelent although they do cost a little.

You dont need that if you have an iPhone 4, with HDR and touch-to-focus, in addition to 720p video.

The iPhone 4 is massively superior in hardware and software.

Recommended for old 3GS though.

 

I have the iPhone 4 and I find Camera+ to be worth the $2. Didn't know the default camera had the focus (nice tip). Camera+ is still a million times better in terms of shutter speed though. I've never had it sit there for 18 seconds in a dark setting like the default camera. Even the basic edits like cropping and fucking w/ the clarity/brightness post product are quite useful, too!

Stunning outdoor shots. That filter looks quite nice on them! I was at Osaka Aquarium Kaiyukan just a shot time ago, myself. It's really very large!
