Thanks, Yakumo. I shot them with a Panasonic Lumix DMC ZS7. It's a pretty nice camera!

At first I was concerned that it had a smaller maximum aperture than my old Canon PowerShot, as well as a shorter maximum shutter length in Program mode, but the image quality was better, and it turns out that bumping the ISO up a few times in low light isn't terrible when you're shooting at 12 MP. I did a lot of manual exposures with a tripod, as well.

How the hell can those idiots have miss spelt game consoles names? The Japanese really are a disgrace when it comes to English.

    Tatsujin,
How is the space invader coin bank? I've always though about buying one.

Hehe, first one to catch my eye was Rejister, the game console names was golden since it's written on the box.

At the moment a typhoon is passing through Japan although it's not coming here. Saying that it has had a very strange effect on the lighting. At 7pm tonight everything was a strange shade of dark pinky purple!

All of these below shots were taken from different windows of my house. the images have not been photoshoped or altered in anyway at all except for size.

Why bother with those when you have Viron, Aux Bachanalles (sp?) and Paul -- who have better than French, French pastries. :)

Well, they all went through heavy post production to be fair, and the last one was a simple click of a button on the phone. Didn't realize I uploaded it at full resolution. It worked better than in color.

And yep -- that's exactly where that photo was taken: Taito Station. Good eye, Sp!nz! Would love to do an "arcades" series. The old magazine Continue had some inspirational "hipster" arcade shots.

Great shots. I love Shinjuku. :) That tilt shift lens photo looks like it was taken near Shinjuku station. Is the Tokyo Tower one just a long exposure? Tokyo is a beautiful place, and you can get some incredible shots just by leaving the lens open a bit longer. Thanks for sharing.

Can't remember -- couple of seconds max, but probably 1. Tripods are forbidden so I had to use the ledge. Total bullshit. :/
