Save up your cash and come on over !!! You won't see stuff like those pictures by following the typical tourist maps though. These types of places are meant for Japanese since they are all to do with local Japanese history or completely out of the way meaning you'll need to drive there. Of course there are many beautiful places to see that are on the tourist's map but it's nice to go to a place where you are the only foreigner.

I think the only time soon I'll be able to go is when I try out a foreign exchance program in college. I'm hoping when I get accepted to the college of my choice, they'll have a foreign exchange program to Japan. I'm already researching which colleges I'm interested in & if they have such...

Here's two pictures I took yesterday on a walk I had to go on with my company. I bloody hate company walks :( Still at least we had a few beers.

The trail lead right past a dam which I'm sure I took pictures of but can't seem to find them.

One of my mates came over to Chofu from Kokura last week to show his girl friend around. So he asked if they could hookj up with me and the missus and take a trip to Chofu Gardens. So we did :) I've lived in Chofu (Shimonoseki not Tokyo Chofu) for over 5 years now but have never visited the gardens. I was quite surprised at how beautiful they are.

This last picture is my wife. She may look like a timid Japanese woman but she certainly isn't how she looks. Oh, my poor ears.....nag, nag, nag !

hahahaha, no idea. Japanese do that peace sign all the time. I've even been known to do it if with Japanese friends. Just a thing they do for pictures I guess.
