    Thanks guys.

Nope, I am a programmer and technology jackass by trade. Only a photo enthusiast, and have taken it up a notch recently w/ better gear and studying post processing more.

GP, once you've done editing, do you save the edits as a JPEG or as a PSD/TIFF?

Like a dumb ass, I save them as PSD (unflattened) in case I want to tweak later. I should probably just save the original as a PSD, and the final product as a PNG. That would save me a LOT of space per image.

    Bahaha :)

Yep, I save mine as either JPEG, PNG or TIFF, depending on use, and have one layered PSD of which I edit the .psb :)

I am on a laptop-only life and though I could have lots of hard drives full of PSDs, I really can't be arsed. Full-sized JPEGs are mostly good enough for internetty things :)

Well, I've got a 3TB hard drive and unlimited cloud space. So... really testing it out. :D

Really enjoying the shots Gaijinpunch :) . Not to mention the fact that Chinese New Year in your average Chinatown is in fact a lot more exciting than Chinese New Year in China..

Thanks. If you follow one of the pics to my Flickr page, I made a Chinese New Year Set, w/ all my photos from the event there. Probably about 150 if you include the ones I processed a few times.

How far away are you from those girls when you take their picture? I never have the balls to quickly whip out the camera to take a snap of someone.

They were very close -- in fact, the one looking into the camera gave a wacky pose after that. They were very open. But, note that I had my camera up pointing at the "scene" for an extended period, so nobody really knew what the subject was (even me). ;) That one just happened to come out pretty good.

Are all of those your full shots or do you crop them?

    Amazing stuff by the way.

The 3rd to the last is slightly cropped (maybe 20%) but that's it.

GP, I really love that "Palace Reflection" photo.
The lighting reminds me of a warm sunny July evening.
