As always GaijinPunch, some great shots. It's easy to tell the Harajuku shot. Just look at the guy with the yellow pants :)

WTF is that meant to say? Actually, I know what it says from the Japanese but come on! that English is so bad you you couldn't fuck up that much even if you tried.

If it didn't say "video camera" and "pet" in katakana, I would have believed that you were in Hong Kong... :loyal:

Oh my God! That was an amazing feature. So much shit and blatant copying even when they say everything is legit. It pisses me off how they can just lie and get away with it yet it amazes me at the same time.

In larger Chinese communities, like in Toronto or Vancouver, it used to be the same thing in Canada. Loads of pirate stores, all colluding with one another to price-fix their wares, selling copies, flash cards, copiers, etc. The only difference now is that the RCMP has raided malls and stores so many times it's been pushed more underground. But they still have pirated Chinese movies and stuff out in the open. I guess most Canadians don't care about those kinds of things, so they wouldn't know if it was pirate even if they wanted to.

It is amazing how the government just don't seem to care. I remember many years ago a police raid in a local game store that sold a few pirate famicom games. Seems like nothing but to the Japanese it was as if they were selling nukes or something.

New law? What new shit are they coming out with? Is it like the bullshit 2nd hand electronics crap they made a law about a few years ago which must have only lasted about 6 month tops before the likes of Hard Off stopped giving a shit.

Downloading/streaming copyright data is now a criminal offense. Not just civil. One step close to a police state.

Man, what a load of shit. Still, I doubt they'll bother with the likes of us who download TV shows or the odd movie. These laws are probably aimed at the people who download hundreds of torrent files each day. Also, if I read that right you can still get out of the penalty by just saying you had no idea it was illegal.

Yeah. Japan has redefined making weird clauses in their laws. My first guess of the people that will get stung are the ones on the street selling stuff. Do they still hang around Akiba?
