You'll be even more jealous when I tell you I paid 20'000 yen (254 USD) for the brand new GF2 with lense over a year ago. Man, that was a good deal. I was lucky that day. If you do get one, ASSEMbler, make sure you upgrade the standard body firmware to Ver1.1 before you update the lens firmware and then apply the hacked ver1.1 body firmware. You can custom the hack too. Sop you have decide what you want to hack or add to the camera.

Sorry for the late response - haven't been on the last few days. Just wanted to say thanks for the tips - I've played around with A mode the most of the manual settings when trying to get different emphases on close-up photos, but I haven't gone nuts with the camera in full manual mode for a while. Will take the time to practice and take multiple shots at different settings and compare how they turn out. Thanks again!

I think some jack ass voted it a 1-star, as it was 4.5 w/ three votes. Probably someone else that posted a photo this week that wants theirs printed.

The missus and I celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary yesterday so we went to our favourite "trendy" restaurant. It's one of those with dark lighting and retro atmosphere. I took a few shots with my phone while the missus popped to the ladies room.

congratulations on getting photo of the day!

Nasty spider though. Actually, a few weeks ago I nearly touched one the size of my hand. I was coming back from 7/11 at night. Went to open the front door to the house when the entrance light came on. There, 1cm from my hand was a massive hairy spider spread out right across the door handle. I almost shit my self. I fucking hate spiders. I had to go in the house through the back kitchen door.

Hehe, you know what would be funny if they had a tramp with one perfect tooth showing for their logo rather than ripping off the Roddy character.

I was on the 28th floor of the luxury Rihga Hotel in Kokura yesterday for a "yawn" conference. Still, the food was great as was the view. The problem was, no camera as always. Only the phone.

Same area but at sunset. Notice the big TV screen on the building to the left of the sun?

This picture shows a lot of man made land filled with a steel factory, new hostpital and park.
