maybe they say its region free to get some customers, as you wont be able to import the games anyway (thats at least what sony wants i guess)
Well, I think I might become the only lawyer who can operate development equipment  Someday , I look forward to taking the place of Howard Lincoln ^_^
I agree that a US entity would most likely fold, or at least meet Sony's demands. Again, this is a Chinese shop in China. They're not known for doing much of anything to gain favor in the west.
Also this action prevents many of the "OMG SONY MUST DIE!! MY CONSOLE DIED AND I CAN'T GET IT REPAIRED SUCK SUXOR $$$$!! GIVE ME BACK MY MONEY!" type moronic forum posts (you know they are coming).
You might become the only lawyer who can operate dev. equipment, but you'll have another one nipping at your heels in a few years. :110:
you also use devkits as a footstool? don't know why.. I guess they just have the perfect height
damn custom scsi cable between ODEM and GDEV is too damn short, so I m forced to keep it at mid-height under my desk not much leg-room under there, although it's on a wooden box I made for it.
i have a stupid question...questions, did Lik-sang sign a contract with Sony? was Lik-sang buying the psps directly from Sony, and if they were why didnt Sony just stop selling to them?
The thing you guys are forgetting is that as soon as Lik-sang closes, another store will take its place. There are plenty of Lik-sang style HK importers.
Lik-Sang will probably be back, but they'll surely be cleansed of any Sony products. Might be under a different name though, but I'm sure they'll still be sellling GP2X's and DS stuff and Dreamcast accessories or what have you.
