Australian version, 3 days old. 1 Small scratch, must have been from its travel. Comes with box and manual and its silver controller, also stock hookups, plus Viewtiful Joe (disk was preplayed, so there are noticable scratches, but plays fine). Menu output requires a 50hz compatable TV, but both the DVDs i tried (region free) play fine, and Viewtiful Joe has a 60hz mode that plays perfectly for me.

This also works with a US powersupply, so plug and play one from another slim PS2 and it works perfectly :) Taking offers on it, only trade id be interested in was for an ipod (gotta be the full sized one), or a mac mini. Id also consider a Sega naomi, or watercooling for an athlon64 system.(And of course straight cash :p) Thanks guys

Are the US TVs 50 Mhz or 60 Mhz? So this only plays PAL games, right?

Yep, only plays PAL games. US TVs run at 60hz.

Just as a lot of items can be deemed "useless", every one has a use, whether it be to play PAL games without chipping, or a collector buying it because its LE, there are plenty of NTSC people that wouldnt mind having it.

Silver slim PS TWO was released here in Europe. Your area is managed by SCEE (Sony Computer Entertainment Europe) as is Europe.

So basically, whatever you get we get, and vice versa.

We got the Silver slim PStwo in Early May of this year. They're quite popular, although I prefer the bulky PS2 IMHO.
