Linux on Xbox 360 DemoKit

Hello,

I would like to lunch linux directly via the XDK on my Xbox 360 DemoKit.
I know I can install linux thanks to KingKong but I prefer a quicker way

Do you know a linux version legally compilated for the Xbox 360 ?

The only way to install is to use KingKong.And your running a very old kernel by the way.

 

Yes, my kernel is old and I have a recent CD update (6995).

If my only way to run Linux is KK, I have to find a debug kernel 4532/4548. And it's an impossible mission :-(

well ofcourse kingkong is working in 4548...but are you running linux, i mean isnt that the point of this topic.

 

It sould work. Now KingKong patch game freeze before the main menu. It's probably because I burned the file directly to a DVD-R with no optimisation. Access to DVD is very very long...

I will boot the file via the HDD (I don't have it right now).

 

isnt there a media flag for which disk type of disk it is burned too...try a dvd dl.

and i envy you...booting kingkong off the harddrive INTO linux...very clever.

but what i dont understand is you have a demokit that is capable of running unsigned code, why are you trying to run linux using a exploit through a game that was really meant to be exploited on retail machines...not demokits, or dev kits.
