I have been VERY interested in this exploit myself, however do you really need to downgrade the kernel? just asking because I figured demokits don't include the hypervisor, I never tried it myself, but wouldn't the exploit boot through a updated kernel for demokits? Just asking before I go and do it myself.
I'm going to watch and have a laugh while you try to get it running But here's a hint: it is king kong, I mixed it up
nah, after all the luxurious treatment some members have given me, I decide to pass on that one, thanks for the offer tho
Here's another hint: you're wrong, no need to modify xell at all. You could either a.) xextool a usual patched kk (either use retail config or repatch shader, using xorlosers tool, in devkit mode), or b.) find the tools somebody has written which executes the shader payload directly. (I won't be much of a help, I just watched the show on this one.)
If you have nothing to say then dont say anything at all. Maybe you should just move on to another forum...
I lunch linux with patched KK and a retail config (with the recovery CD). It's not the quickest way but it's fully working. I copy my 1BL.bin and fuse.txt. My tmbincdump.bin is incomplet (16Mo like retail console instead of 64Mo) but you already know this problem ;-). Ps : I will be curious to test the other way to lunch linux :110: Ps 2 : thanks to people who helped me
Well I love that additude you have, its very positive. Your statement is also completly relative concidering I haven't done one damn thing to you since I have been here. Too me it just sounds like your boasting to get attention, what other reason would you claim to know how and refuse help to those for some sort of payback? Seems a little childish to me.
We should all act as if we were in the same room and be civil to each other, and this applies to everyone here. Members and newcomers alike. No more sideswiping in this thread!
Linux is working on Debug console. You can load your nand, CPU key... Tools are available here : http://hb-released.com/
Thanks, although I'm not sure what it does. One question I've is what can you do with the nand and cpu key?
I don't think people understand, you need a patched king Kong ISO. You need an old Recovery, then you do a Retail Recovery (pressing Y at the beginning) Next you run kk off a disc (on a dual layer dvd) patched for dev then you need a separate disc with the linux distro. also as far as the recovery goes I need to check which ones worked.
No, you are in wrong. I can make the UK translation, if you want. Oh sorry, the real link of Tutorial (french) : here
