Nobody really gives two ****s about this kind of thing. People care about murders, rapists, child abusers, businessmen ripping old ladies out of their pensions, thieves, burglars, people who torture and kill animals, crack dealers, noisy neighbors, environmental polluters, lager louts, vandals, drunk drivers who slam their car into a family of six, and wife beaters.

Some kid watching the latest crappy hollywood blockbuster for free (*gasp*)should be rather down the list, unless the movie industry and calling all the shots.

Kinda miss al those Amiga magazines where kiddie winks would say piracy was good for the Amiga and the editor would call them inhuman scum though.

 

trading standards in england don't give a toss about having people thrown in jail, having been busted myself for modchipping consoles, i just got a slap on the wrist, and had all my games taken off me....which as it happens was thousands of discs that i had built up over a ten year period. a very sad day indeed. oh well they couldn't take my original stuff - so i'll live.

Pas, sorry if I sound harsh here, but you can't call a library of pirated games a collection. You'll find a lot of serious collectors here, and noone really gives a shit that you lost your games. You are posting on a forum for people who are developers or would-be developers. Don't expect sympathy by saying, "Hey, guys. I used to con you out of money. Yeah, I copied the games that you slaved over and took all the profits myself!"
