Good luck. I've been looking for some time myself. I'm after the somewhat rare first edition models that were made from PC parts and even housed in a PC casing. ASSEMbler has one IIRC...

If all else fails, I think it is possible to make one of the later models from a retail box. 128 mb memory mod, BIOS and Dashboard swap to the DEV unit, and a DVD ROM emulator kit. Maybe more since I'm not exactly sure what all those units had. Debug units are easier. It's just a BIOS and Dashboard swap.

    ...I think...

The Alpha kits are the PC towers. I have one that works.

The DVD emulator would be useless on a retail converted kit, and even a debug kit. It requires an actual Development Kit to function, as it has the extra hardware that is necessary. Even converted, the retail conversions aren't 100% identical to an actual debug kit.

You may have a hard time finding one for 150$ right now. There were quite a few of them not too long ago, now they seem to have dried up again. Kiff may have some debug units, but they will likely be 220v units, and of course shipping from overseas. Good luck!

I do have some debug kits for sale but as Borman said, they are all 220v and would be shipped from the UK. I could do you a kit for $150 but shipping would be at cost!

Drop me a PM if you are interested!
