Looking for Beta or early build versions of WWF/WWE games

Hey guys. This is a long shot, but I'm looking for any beta/prototype/early build versions of WWF and WWE wrestling video games.

They are out there, somewhere, I just don't know where to look/ask, so I'm starting here, and hoping maybe I can find some luck or if somebody knows other places to post, could suggest that as well. Thanks all.

 

There is a beta version of WWF Smackdown floating around on the internet, i think its on emuparadise listed as the retail version

I also saw a list a few years back with someone selling an early proto of smackdown 2 aswell best bet would be google for that if the seller still has it

 

I'm not seeing anything on the emuparadise site, unless I'm looking at the wrong place.

Also that link does to a page that says there is no text for this page. Is that the correct link?

 

I dumped and released an early beta of a WWF game for the Genesis years ago. You can grab it from various ROM sites.

Hint: Google "WWF Wrestlemania Arcade (Alpha) [!].rar"

 

I think the (!) is messing the link up but the page is there lol


As for the iso, It's there under the normal/retail iso section listed as the [NTSC-U] version if you check the comments at the bottom one or two mention it

 

Yeah that WWF Smackdown Beta for PS1 is on Emuparadise. Pretty cool.

 

I remember playing this beta all the way back in 2000, Me and a few friends had this person we used to go to for our 'backups' and we noticed he had Smackdown well before it was out. All the debug text confused the hell out of us at first lol

 

I have a WWF Coin-op proto for SNES I would sell. PM me.

HOLY SHIT!!!!!, Now that is interesting. Come here on my birthday just to read up and i find this for one of my favorite games of all time.....shame i dont have the money or an N64 otherwise i would snap it up in an instant

 

The two big ones I'm looking for are betas of SD4 for PS2 and RAW2 for XBOX. If anyone has them or knows someone or someplace that might, I would be really grateful.

ha, that ebay account has no wrestling game protos, he had two n64 ones but sold them

 

He HAD loads of wrestling games listed, but they all seem to have disappeared with only one in Completed listings......weird....

 

yeah pretty much everything sold privately.

 

a new WWF No mercy beta dated sept 11 2000 has been put on ebay by same seller, ill be interested to see how much it goes for.
