I was disappointed that the alpha build was sold privately. Would have liked a shot at it.

Got to throw around big money when it comes to these desirable games, gone are the times where you can get dirt cheap prototypes. It sucks when your ready to make a high bid on something and it gets snipped before you have a chance to bid.

Since it seems both, the NTSC N64 Mia Hamm Soccer 64 US/ES World League Soccer 2000 Prototype Nintendo (#171365214084) and RARE NTSC N64 WWF No Mercy ALPHA AUG 2000 Development Prototype Nintendo 64 (#171364474300) seems to have been bought by o***r, I guess it could be the one and only member of Team CARROT (just check the older sold prototypes of the seller and compare them, with Team CARROT ROM release times and since I also know the name of the dumper/buyer in the internet world, a nickname, starting with O also fits), so we could hope that both of them will be released soon.
I would love to see the WWF No mercy prototype.
Btw: found this video, while searching for more info on the N64 WWF beta games:

Ah yes, he is a master of many aliases ;*) If team CARROT has them then they're in good hands.

An interesting aspect of these AKI fighters is that they registered each model and stat table with a unique hash code. Some of these did change over time (or at least since Virtual Pro Wrestling 2) and the most evident change is to the wrestler stats. If it does become available, you should be able to directly compare the character data from this and any later (or earlier) AKI fighter rather easily.

It'll be fun to see if WWF Wrestlemania X8 surfaces, sans WWE. The name change was so late they phoned it in.

did anyone here on the site win the july alpha of no mercy? this one may have full entrances and everything editable. , moves, appearances and all. also besides some character differances, some theme music could be different. heard rumor that kid rock american bad a** is undertakers theme song on early builds. i may remember wrong on that one tho. its been 14 years .

Doesn't look like it sadly, I doubt Undertaker had his kid rock theme seeing as he only returned a month or two prior to that build. Probably would of had Big Show as a playable character though (He was nixed from the final game for being too fat lol but he can still be created in CAW mode with a gameshark code)

After looking around for abit, drx has a few smackdown games but he wont be able to get them dumped until next year

I would also like RAW 2 and Smackers 4 released one day. I already actually requested this myself, well Raw 2 anyway a while back in another earlier thread on these same forums people made about wrestling game betas but never got an answer at all as my post is still the last post on there. lol.

The main thing I wanted them for is ripping the changed theme musics as there is a lot of stuff us themers need from those damn early disks but I just didn't put that as my reason before but there you go I need the themes from the disks even if the game itself isn't uploaded because the person who has it spent a million pounds on buying it so doesn't want to share the disk but wouldn't mind sharing the themes from it.

As for the others mentioned here I would like them for the same thing if theres unreleased themes on them.

Royal Rumble Dreamcast is a very interesting one as we could get Chese Head Al Snow's track longer as in those CD games days the normal release had 25 second themes but the Beta had longer tracks upto a minute long or longer like the Smackers 1 on the PS.

Roll on Royal Rumble Dreamcast DRX themes or full game don't care as the themes is what I want anyway due to emulators for those systems being crap and probably not able to run them anyway and me not having a modchip on any systems to play them that way so all I need is the themes to be happy.

The main theme from RAW 2 and Smackers 4 Beta is that Brock Lesnar's Enforcer theme.

Hmm, that Smackers 2 could be interesting if it has 1 minute or longer themes. Essa Rios is the big theme of that one if it does. Perhaps even Malenko's too if it's longer than his Smackdown 3. With debug comes probably the full recordings burnt on the early version of the game so that could be a goldmine for themes if the debug does have long tracks.

We will just have to wait for next year to see what happens. Fingers crossed for long themes or at least 1 minute in the debug Smackers 2.

WWE 13 has one to buy now. Don't know if it has any different oggs in it from the final though.

Just checking in to see if there's been any new finds or such. I gotta believe some people held onto early betas and builds from these games. Ideally I'd like to try to get in touch with someone from like IGN who previews/reviews all the wrestling games.

These are the support desks for IGN and Gamespot both of which had the Shut Your Mouth Proto. You may want to ask for the names of the editors during that period via email then use the names to look for the social network PM contacts afterwards as I doubt the companys themselves will answer to the question but the guys who did the capping might.

Gamespot I beleive beat IGN to the punch that year so might be the first choice to ask for the editors names.

    Giancarlo Varanini

This guy seems to be the name on Gamespots preview reviews. Note all videos since I think have been swapped for the final version as I don't think I could find the previous videos they had of the Beta with Brock Lesnars old theme which they showed a longer exit over IGN but they did use the Beta footage before the final so this guy should have the SYM Beta.

And lookey what I found here his Twitter address page.
