Looking for GSTOOL 3.1

Take a look in the subdirectories of /usr/local/sce/ and /usr/local/sony/

I found the gst_13.tgz in the newsgroups archive, but it's a copy of the newsgroup into pdf forrmat, so the attachment is messed up...
edit:nevermind, I extracted the rpm, it looks fine, if anyone wants it, PM me.

 

Hmmm? Not sure what is happening with this one. I had grabbed both HDD1 & HDD2 images from the DVD I created. I am trying to extract each HDD from the compressed zip file into a new folder created on my 2nd PC hard drive. It has approximately 120Gb of its 160Gb available. For some reason Winzip throws a wobbly and an error. It seems to exceed the system limits.

Never had that happen before. Certainly plenty of space of the PC HDD to dump one of these files into it, but then my PC spits it out again.

Can I just send you a copy of the disc OE that way you can just start again with both HDD on the PS2 Tool?

Bizarrely, it was Winrar I had plummed for almost 2hrs 30mins ago. This is a slow, painful process. I'm beginning to appreciate the shit you went through compressing the files in the first place. At 83% and slowly counting.

 

Strange, it shouldn't be that long, download gzip asap!

 

Tried both ways and no mention of GSTool anywhere, was this an app that would have been bundled with the Tool, or something that perhaps you would be required to obtain from Sony in the event of networking issues btw?

 

Look in the file sce.dev.devkit.pdf, you'll find it.
