no it was me i came across it in 2001 on videogamedepot.com its not there anymore but the link above will take you to it ps. i do not own this
Sonic Mars evolved into Sonic Xtreme. They even got a working crude 3D demo that ran on 32x hardware.
i remember when videogame depot use to proudly talk about it, then again this was at time when the import buisness was doing very well in the us. I wonder if the owners of the store decided to sell these prototypes.
Sonic Mars is Sonic Crackers; which we have a dumped playable prototype of. I don't know where you're getting your information.
Yeah I was fairly sure that people thought that Mars might have been crackers but that was disproved.
The "Crackers" game design turned into Knuckles Chaotix (32X), a game which I seem to be alone in liking.
Its more of an assumption. I got my info from lostlevels where they talked about the beginnings of Sonic Xtreme. According to that article they showcased an early techdemo of xtreme on 32x hardware so I thought maybe those two were related.. And it turns out my assumption was correct..

Wow The gameplay page indicates its a classic sonic game, right? Water level on 32x (drool) :') Thx for the contribution.

hm.. I'm pretty sure I've seen those images before some where on the net edit: none the less. sweet pics
The document is dated May 16 1994 and it lists final code at June 95. Wonder if anything was actually compiled.
$280 for a xeroxed copy design document. DDs really can't be sold for a lot of money, other than for sentimental value. But having the cart with the demo code on it is worth thousands....
