Anyone in the US into this? We have just had shown on Sunday Series 3 Episode 3 But I have downloaded episodes up to 6 and I am sure I have had this for more than 10 days, however looking on ABC`s web site it still shows only up to episode 6? So if one episode a week how come I have episode 6 for longer than a week. Any ideas?
Its taking a break right now. New episodes will come in a few months to finish off the third season. They are doing that stupid schedule which kills a lot of shows. Im pretty hooked on it, I just wish they'd start explainin stuff.
I wonder what SKY (satellite tv) company will do in a few weeks time? But saying that when did the episodes stop over there?
I ve seen banners for FOUND, the sequel to LOST? That said, I don't watch TV, I don't like series, and I don't intend to start watching LOST, mainly because it's so popular. I have a complex over pop things, they disgust me for some reason.
It`s really strange as on the ABC site it says Lost returns February 7th, only on ABC. Episode 307 Wednesday, February 7 LOST will begin 16 straight weeks of all new episodes in February. Till then, check back for a weekly sneak peek of what's to come So how come only 6 episodes have been shown?
Because last year they had absolutetly fucked up filming and showing them. They had a new episode then the next week they might show a repeate or some shit. People just got well pissed they dint have a new episode every week and found the reruns well annoying. So they have done it this way. Film first 6 get them out and then have a break while filming the rest so they dont have any stupid 2 week breaks and repeats. Im twitching right now... i downloaded and watched series 1 in the space of like 4 days... lol
Muppets!!!!! I watched the first series all through then downloaded the first 10 or so of series 2 and was putting them on DVD so they could watch. Then they kept buggering around with them so I stopped. Then when the 2nd series came on the TV I didn`t bother with it. Then when series 3 came out recently, downloaded episodes 4-23/24 and watched them all in about the same time. Wish I never bothered now and left it at say 1 a week I would have been behind for a few episodes....but would have seen the wife and kids for a week
I actually think it's February 14th when it starts up again. I'm required to be into it, as I live on the island. Only bumped into one actor on the street (Mr. Eko) but I saw them all at the Season 3 premiere in Waikiki.
Yeah, me and my brother used to call this style of narrative "Dragon Ball-Lag," becasue in that cartoon they would drag stuff out for ever and ever. X-files used to do that also, just feed you the tiniest morsel so you keep comming back, yet never ever fully explain anything. My Mom tapes this show, so I've seen quite a few of them. But it's one of those things where if you miss one then you have no idea what the hell is going on.
Lost is one of my favorite shows. I think they give away enough info per episode but it's not a show for the impatient. I admit though the writers are running the risk of boxing themselves into a corner by not ever having a good explanation (Numbers, Slave ship, Monster, ect) for some things. Time will tell though.
Yeah, I used to watch that show, regretably (Dragon Ball Z, that is). There would be whole episodes where two characters would act as if they were about to fight, but instead they would have a long, drawn-out conversation like: "I am more powerful than you!" "Oh, but my power is much more powerful than your power!" "But I have the Super Mega Ultra Ass Tickler!" "WHAA?!!" "Yes, it is true." "WHAA?!!" "My Ass Tickler is much more powerful than yours." "No matter, because I'm actually God! HAHAHA! You didn't see that coming, did you?!!"
I'll watch it if I catch it on television, as I think it's a pretty interesting show. With that said, I don't watch much television (with the exception of an hour of Simpsons every day), and I don't really get the "addiction" to the show like everyone else seems to.
I never really got into the show. Prison break and house are about the only two shows that I ever watch ("Religiously") on TV.
Yep, I second that. I have tried to get into 'Lost' having missed a couple of the first episodes (which I went back to, thanks to the endless round of repeats) and still had no idea what was going on. I really am not a TV fan, there are very few programmes I bother to watch and would really describe my TV as a monitor for games consoles and films! What I do watch: News, CSI, Simpsons (throw back to when I worked for Sky, I became a fan) and the odd film (if I haven't seen it already).
Dude, they tell you WAY more shit than the X-Files ever did. One, almost every episode tells at least something of the ongoing story. W/ the X-Files, there was only about 8 episodes per season dedicated to the mythology storyline. The issue w/ Lost is they bring in more weird shit every episode. I was shopping for some fly threads at Nieman Marcus yesterday and saw Daniel Dae Kim. His hair looks a bit longer. Yes, his American though for those that don't know. Only his character doesn't speak English.
