First: All credit for this release goes to NikeX / Tekknorg. It is his generosity that brings us this release.

Here is IMSA Racing for the M2. This will run on your FZ-35S1H1-M media.

    ===================================================

To mods - I have permission from Assembler to write the following piece.

For anyone interested in a story involving IMSA Racing and WindowsKiller, read on. I do this partly because it needs to be said and partly because I have had my fill of WindowsKiller trashing my name on various forums (this forum included).

For people who have been following M2 around here, it is known that WindowsKiller has had IMSA Racing for a couple of years now.

Here is some more detail to go with that information.

WindowsKiller got IMSA Racing from one of IMSA's developers named Alex. I tracked down Alex and had a conversation with him via email. Alex tells me that he gave WindowsKiller IMSA Racing with the understanding that WindowsKiller would distribute it to other people who wanted the game.

This means that for the last couple of years WindowsKiller has not been truthful to people when he says that he cannot share the game.

Here are two quotes from this very forum from WindowsKiller:

    This statement is clearly untrue.

    Here is another one:

The full post can be found here: LINK

I post these quotes to illustrate WindowsKiller's attitude and position on sharing the game.

Now, I will post the information I received from the developer who originally gave WindowsKiller the game.
The developer (Alex) told me to contact WindowsKiller to get a copy of the game as sharing the game was something that WindowsKiller was supposed to be doing. He also wasn't sure where he had placed his image of the game after giving a copy to WindowsKiller.

At this point, I asked WindowsKiller politely via PM if he would share the game with me. I received utter silence.

I communicated this fact with the developer and the developer wrote this back to me:

At this point I once again messaged WindowsKiller about sharing the game. This time I communicated Alex's request, but it did not change anything. I was refused again.

Luckily, NikeX / Tekknorg discovered the game and is sharing it.

WindowsKiller has been visiting forums for a couple of years now showing off IMSA Racing and telling everyone that he will not share it. As I've shown, this is not what his source had intended.

And WindowsKiller calls me the hoarder?

Thanks to anyone involved in this release,i am glad some stuff turns out after all!

I am too sad about the rest of the story though,3do scene needs a lot of generosity and work...there are too few of us interested in these...

Thanks, I knew I would get you that way. Clearly shows what an asshole you are. Too bad for you that I no longer care. :)

What does that mean? No point trying to clear your name. It's perfectly clear that you were given the image to share not to horde. Makes no difference to me as far as playing it goes because I don't own the hardware but to purposely horde something so special after being told to release it is just plain selfish and mean. Yeah, keep it to yourself for a month or two but a few years??? That's too much.

Uh, this thread clearly shows you being an asshole, unless you care to defend yourself. It's a shame, really.

Remember we treat people here in a civil fashion. All we can hope is he has learned something.

Focus on the great release, not on any drama.

For fun i threw the disc in one of my M2 arcade boards. Looks like attempts to boot, screen goes black then there is a few seconds of disc activity, then reboot. Not that i expected anything more, but how hard would it be to rig for the arcade board?
