M2 folks have been super hoardy. I believe recently a demo was released, but it was homebrew. Best of luck to you.

Thanks. One of my pals in the M2 community just gave me a prototype shooter game that has been released already I think. What I'm really looking for though is IMSA racing

Yeah I didn't think so. Well maybe someone could make an imitation of it as homebrew someday

People should learn to read the release notes. It was not homebrew. And it was released not recently but already 6 months ago. By me, btw, that's why I know.

oh god YES!!!!!!!! I would scream like banshee and then run around in circles and then bash my head against a wall for five hours because of the awesomeness that is that game. But we all know that it won't be released and we should respect that decision

Well, to be honest it would be an important piece of history to digitally preserve. And since there are about maybe a handful of real, working units out there, I couldn't see any reason to not do so.

Maybe the fact that he did all of the leg work in finding it and then spent his own money to purchase it would be reason enough to not just give it away for free and diminish its value.

Who says a game is not properly digitally preserved just because it is in the possession of a collector? I am kind of sick of the evil hoarding collector stereotype at this point.

If I had a Morgan Aeromax, I sure as hell wouldn't let anyone drive it.

It won't diminish it's value in the slightest. I'm kind of sick of the cliche lines of collectors at this point as well.

Tell that to anyone who has paid thousands for a piece of obscure software and released it.

IT MOST CERTAINLY DOES DIMINISH THE VALUE!!

At this point I'm sick of all these online experts who seem to know everything about collecting and the value of rarities, yet they seem to do nothing but ask for free stuff and bring nothing but complaints to the table.

Sure there is the occasional game that loses very little by way of overall cash value after release. However, that same title will now be next to worthless as a trade for a like rarity. Seriously why would anyone trade a one of a kind item for something they could just download off the net?

If you feel so strongly about this then why not offer WindowsKiller a few grand for his software and then release it yourself. Surely you stand to lose absolutely nothing by increasing the availability of a particular item a million fold.

It's called Supply and Demand. it's a tricky concept to get through your head.

Couldn't agree more. If Windowskiller is willing to sell it...........he should sell it to someone who can use it like oh I dunno someone who's HUGE M2fan(hint hint) or maybe release it to people who have a M2.....

Please provide me with the software title that you have released that has not lost any of its value as a sought after and trade worthy item.
