Magazine SNES/N64 Prototype Game pics I found in my basement...

DKC3 was never planned as an n64 title. really, ever. That's just a sloppy mistake on the journalists sentence structure, bad choice, but then he doesn't seem to be much of a writer. Unless someone fucked up the translation..which I don't think, considering this is the first time most of us heard anything like this=p

The only 3D Yoshi that ever graced a platformer on the n64 was in Super Mario 64 and that wasn't playable either.

Yoshi's Island 64 is the original title of Yoshi's Story. I have quite a few promotional leaflets that had Conker 64, Yoshi's Island's 64, etc. promoted on.

 

in the back of an EGM I had, it had "UPCOMING GAMES" and it showed beta screen shots of OoT as Zelda64 and a photoshopped screen shot of Rainbow Cruise from Mario 64 with a luigi on another carpet as Mario 64 2. It was an ad for a store EGM used to shove in the back

 

This is pretty awesome! Reminds me of unreleased games like Starfox 2 and F-Zero 2 for SNES...
