Apparently the full -uncut- version of Manhunt 2 has been leaked. (only the PS2 version, not the Wii version) Unfortuatly the retail game still isnt out, so I can't compare it to the 'rated' version. Will do that once the game ships retail.

Did anyone else give the game a spin?

If you can, check if it's HDLoader "friendly"

I have the torrent but its not in a form I know. There is a Image but its only 4kb in size. There are 3 other large files with it of varying size.

When I double click the image DVD Decrypter starts up so I assume I can burn the image then rerip it natuarally before sending it over to HDL.

However this may take me a few hours as im busy with some work im trying to wrap up. I will have a full report on it asap. If anyone here as the space and someone wants to host it we could talk with Assembler about it? Its technically a beta I guess?

It is hdloader friendly, I grab a few screenshots I will post soon.
I'd classify it more in the warez category than in the beta one, due to the fact it must be on sale next month, it displays a lot of infos in dsedb about the memory during the gameplay though.

I dont know if I would call it warez lol. The final product will most certainly be much diffrent from this.

Its good to hear that its HDL friendly though ^^

Just to double check the size of my image is just under 3GB's at about 2.8? Does that seem right?

Mic, what is the extension of the files you have?
    2.8GB sounds correct.

 I have 4 files. The image (4kb or so) then the other 3 much larger ones. They have extensions of .001, .002, and .003

I was able to burn the image to DVD-R then rerip the actual game disc I just made into a normal ISO. All thats left is to send it to my PS2's hard drives and test it. However I think that can wait until tommarow since people are already saying it works.

But you need to patch the disc first to a 'master disc' (not that thats so difficult to do)

    If it's the full version it's warez/pirate.

BETA's can be complete to, and this version probally is. If the game wasnt delayed becouse of the banning this would probally be the retail version. However you can see this as a warez/pirate release since the official version is comming out next month. However this is the only way to play the game, like the developpers intended it.

There is legitimacy if all these people buy the retail copy too, granted.

Micjohvan you can try to convert the image to ISO or BIN/CUE using MagicISO or any other conversion program.

Also, you don't need to burn a DVD to install it. Try using HDL_DUMB server on the PS2 and HDL DUMP on the PC and transfer it through network.

Or pull the HDD of the PS2, connect on the PC and install through WINHIIP.

I'll wait to see if the retail version is any different (censorship maybe). If it is, i'll download this one

i burnt it off with imageburn and then connected ps2 hd to pc thru ide and installed it to the hd with winhiip_v1.7.6

Very good game but i think it may be a beta beacuse there is a few bugs like hunters that dont die etc

looking forward to the retail M Version to see whats Differnt

Well I dont think I am going to buy the PS2 version since its the most dated looking. I do plan to pick up a copy on Wii though ^^

It should be fun to play them side by side and see what was changed and what not.

Johnny I already got it taken care of. My image I downloaded wasent a standard ISO so I couldnt network it directly to my PS2 because HDL wouldnt know what it was. I had to burn the image to DVD and then rerip that dvd like I would a normal PS2 game to get the normal ISO for HDL.

    Its all good now ;)

Waste of a DVD, should have mounted it and made an iso if you had to do it that way
