Holey crap! If you had shown me this 10 years ago i would have had a heart attack. Obviously done in emulation, but still cool as hell! I'd never seen that trick to get up the infinate stairs...
Alas, it has started working again! I would still love to see "so called" Luigi trick, if it does exist. If not, I've been tricked as a child. :crying:
This is possibly the greatest speed run I have ever seen. I can't even imagine doing some of that stuff. He/she has done there research.

i saw this awhile back and was pretty amazed, this is almost as amazing as the guy who beat teh crappy nes friday the 13th game in 3min, no joke, all do to its randomness.
Mario 64 in 16 minutes is an amazing feat, though it would have been even more amazing if he hadn't used save state constantly (Its mentioned on the front page of his website). I personaly find this far more impressive: http://www.collegehumor.com/movies/80314/
As suggested in the comments below the video, Luigi seems to be a rom hack. Unless "Starxxon" is still being sarcastic in his final message. back to the topic That is true, it takes some of the amazement out of it. Wonder what the record is 'unassisted'? (but still using the glitches of course, just no save state)
Luigi is obviously a rom hack, there's awefull tearing thruout the whole movie... but it's a cool rom hack. EDIT:Found this on the same page That's one hellova job... but i'm curious if he just swaped the pointers to the pollys from mario to a mesh of luigi that was already in the game, or if he had to add luigi's mesh...
Yeah, I remember a site that explained a way of finding Luigi in Super Mario 64; by plugging the controller to port 3, getting 1,000 coins in Bowser's world, and more wacky stuff. Of course the last time I accessed this site was back in 1998... I probably could do that! :icon_bigg
Friday the 13th in 3 minutes? How in the love of god.... I always accepted that was one of those games that you had to have the game genie to beat. Lord knows I've put my share of time into it, and the best I could do was beat Jason twice. The third time facing him, you'd be lucky if you could hit him a coulple of times, let alone the 50 or so you needed to kill him. Ugh
Ive seen that speed run 3mins, while watching it I was telling myself ''stupid me all those hours for nothing'' . But there are crap loads of these around the net. I think the most impresive is Metriod for NES in 15 mins or some crap, and Super Mario Bros 3 in 9 mins.
