I believe thats the one that was admittedly cut up to form the run we all know. This Mario 64 one is awesome though since some of the shit is amazing...
Heh, it wasn't till after I watched The Wizard starring Fred Savage almost a decade after it was released that I knew about the SMB3 whistle warps. Some people beat Super Mario 64 just to see Mario blast onto the castle roof and meet Yoshi. I also remember there was a wall jump/kick trick on the side of the castle that enabled you to somehow reach the roof without practically any stars. I never succeeded at that as well...
the super mario bros 3 9 min speed run is fake, we already discussed about it a while ago on the forums.
Hands down the most impressive speedrun (that's not tool-assisted, folks) is Takeshi's MGS2 1:51 no save no damage no kill Big Boss game, which you can see--divided into eleven parts--right here. The video posted was a time attack; the author openly admitted to using "tools" like save states. It's all a matter of semantics, really. If someone claims to have done a time attack, chances are they're emulating it using whatever advantages they can. Still pretty damn impressive though. (hehe i basically just told you what you already know)
i thought that if you skipped the whole Blabla and cutscene, you could beat the game in 15 mins.
