Marketplace: Hot Items Wanted Suggestion

I'd like to make a suggestion to the mods that current "WANTED" posts for hot items be compiled into a single wanted post with every member who is interested in acquiring one posting their interest there along with an offer price.

Everyone would be allowed one post in the thread.

If someone wanted to change an offer, they could edit their post.

This could help streamline the forum as well as make it easier for sellers to get in touch with buyers. Not to mention making it a little easier to gauge the going rate of an item.

Choice of hot items would be up to the mods, but I would guess it would be a limited selection of items. For example, I've seen a lot of PS3 TEST Wanted posts cycle through in the past few days as everyone bumps their respective threads.

If there was just a single Wanted: PS3 TEST post that was started by a mod then all of that could be in one easy to find area.

^ Agreed, I'd love to see things like 'wanted' sorted into summat easier to find.

 

I agree, sounds like a great idea which could clean up the marketplace and make it easier to contact others.

What about a search engine system, similar to ebay.

 

ultimately the best would be if there could be a real shopping system with search functionality that can list after certain criteria etc. and a way to view/leave feedback but I guess a plugin like that doesn't exist.

 

plugins exist for feedback, its the install of vBulletin that the forums is running on that is the issue
