You might have seen my similar post about my Halo 2 Multiplayer alpha disc, but I figured I'd post some info about this one too. I'm going to be selling this disc in the coming week, but in the meantime, I grabbed some screenshots and made a folder dump, which I'll attach the directory listing of here. Here's the link to the screenshots: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1YT3ffQD_EtedoyR-Kaa4hoafZL749Li8 Now, I don't have a retail copy to compare to, so I would be interested to hear about anything notable you guys find in the screens or directory listing. Something I did notice was that this disc also contains a playable demo of Forza Motorsport, and a trailer video for Dungeon Siege II. I have no idea if these demos are known to exist elsewhere, but considering the fact that this disc was pressed in November 04, and both these games were released later in 2005, I assume the demos feature pre-release code. Would love to hear what everyone thinks, and if you guys can see anything particularly interesting about this disc from the dir listing and screenshots posted here.
Thanks for putting this together. I have the same MA2 disc, but I've not gotten a softmodded Xbox to test it out yet. I'm interested to see what people find with this and what it sells for.
That's cool that you've got the same disc. If you don't mind my asking, how'd you find yours? And I agree, it'll be interesting to see what people think of this one.
It was given to me by member of the dev team of MA2. I'd love to boot it up, but I don't have the hardware for it right now. @Borman posted a video some time ago of a possibly similar build he got his hands on. I wonder if he could recall what needs to be done to activate those debugging functions. That dev team likes to use back button + shoulder button to bring up debug functions in their later games, so maybe the same is true on MA2.
The build shown in my video was recovered off a development unit, so it likely isnt going to be quite that similar.
