I know how that goes! It was fun though. I really liked teaching myself how to design pages with XHTML, and then learning how to do it right and re-making my crappy little page. I guess the next step is PHP/Perl.

 

Perl is far more beneficial to know if you want to be a computer genius. PHP is basically for the web. Perl is for the sick-minded person that doesn't mind spending a year in a closet w/ a computer.

I actually use both quite regularly. I think there's a way to use PHP on a command line as if it were a normal shell programming langauge, but then you'd have to ask yourself why.

Site NEWS October 12th 2008 - Man, what a busy month it's been but not to worry because I'm back with a lovely new update for Segagaga Domain! As you've probably noticed the game selection text links at the top of the page have now been changed to lovely little icons. Don't they just look so cute. Other cosmetic updates include a new cover scan for Divine Sealing on the Mega Drive thanks to a new mint copy I found in storage and a few other clean ups here and there.

NEW SECTIONS!!! Yes, there are now two new Sections in Segagaga Domain. The first being the return of the store. Here you'll be able to buy all of those Saturn games that you just can't find anywhere else and best of all the prices are very reasonable to downright cheap. The other new section can be found in the Miscellaneous part of the site. It's a complete (or will be once it's finished) collection of all those mini software release booklets that used to come with Sega first party Saturn and Dreamcast games. The Dreamcast Section is still off line but you can now check out the Saturn section here.

Dreamcast Movie Vault is now taking shape! Yes, I've finally started work on the Dreamcast section of the movie vault with all movies running in their native Dreamcast resolution. There's not a great deal up at the moment but that will soon change in the future. This week seen the additions of Jet Set Radio Sample - Jet Set Radio - Grauen No Torikago Kapitel 1 - L.O.L. - Toyota Digital Catalog - Celsior - Christmas Seaman - Gundam Side Story 0079 - Rise from the ashes PREMIUM DISC and Cool Cool Toon.

Site NEWS October 18th 2008 - The Segagaga Domain store has only been online for a week yet many people are interested and bought many items. This is great news so I've added another 47 titles to the store. Highlights include Bulk Slash, Thunder Force 5 Special Pack, Sokyugurentai 2nd release with Battle Garegga demo, and loads more. Head on over there and take a look. You may find something you like.

Not much in the way of game updates this week however it has been a while since the last Master System update but that has now all changed today with 4 new additions - R-Type, Rocky, Space Harrier and Ys.

New Mega Drive additions this week see the arrival of the now very hard to find Super Mario World 64 as well as the laughable Super Mario Bros and Forgotten Worlds.

The Saturn's Movie Vault also gets an update this week with 10 new additions - Lupin the 3rd Master Files - Lupin The 3rd The Sage of Pyramid - Machi - Magic Carpet - Magical Drop - Magical Drop 2 - Magical Drop 3 - Magical Girl Pretty Samy - Magical Hoppers and Super Dimension Fortress Macross.

My website RVGFANATIC took one step closer to joining the 21st century this past week when I made some improvements to the site:

-Added a Favicon. Not really an improvement, but it's a nice small cosmetic punch-up. You might know that guy...

-Changed my Journal section of the site to allow users to submit their own comments

-This is the big one -- navigation liberation! No longer do sublinks appear under the main bar, so now things are much less congested and easier on the eyes, especially for the Obscure SFC sections.

But the layout remains the same as it did nearly two years ago when RVG first launched. This is the extent of change aesthetically that I see happening for a LONG time. The navigation issue has long bugged me, but it wasn't til recently that I discovered how to hide the pages.

If you never seen my site before, or it's been a good while, I welcome you to do so. Also, recently put out a brand new review. It's a game you MIGHT just be familiar with ;-)

 

Site NEWS November 24th 2008 - The Sega Saturn section comes to life this week in a very cheap way with loads of budget releases and free software consisting of cover discs and sample discs. This week you can find the following Saturn Satakore additions - Enemy Zero - Gyuwambler Jikochuushinha Tokyo Mahjong Land - Langrisser III - MS Gundam - Princess Crown - Pro Mahjong Kiwame S - Puyo Puyo 2 - Puzzle Bobble 2x - Side Pocket 3 - Sword & Sorcery and Techno Motor.

As well as the Satakore additions we also have a few samples added to the Saturn section being Burning Rangers Sample - Mr. Bones Sample - Panzer Dragoon Azel Sample - Tec Saturn Tuushin Volumes 2 - 4 - 5 - 6 and 7. And finally a few full price games being Sangokushi Koumeiden - Virtual Mahjong II My Fair Lady and World Advanced Daisenryaku ~Koutetsu no Ikusakaze~.

The updates don't stop there though. Site NEWS November 27th 2008 - With the Dreamcast having it's 10th birthday on November 27th I thought now would be a good time to start adding some new movies to the Dreamcast movie vault. This week sees the addition of two unpublished Dreamcast games being DUX (should be published in December) and XOP (No release date set as of yet). As well as them two great shooters I've also added Boku Doraemon - Capcom Taisen Fan Disc - Death Crimson 2 - Get !! Colonies - Jet Coaster Dream - July - The House of the Dead 2 - Totsugeki Teketeke Toy Ranger and Virtua Athlete 2K.

Full priced game additions include Baku Baku Animal and Pro Mahjong Kiwame S for the Sega Saturn plus I have a few hardware additions for you this week with the ultra rare SAMSUNG Mega Drive and Japanese Super 32X. I've also fixed the Mega CD 1 page that didn't seen to display right in Fire Fox due to a few Microsoft standard layers.

Finally more videos for Dreamcast fans. Langrisser Millennium - Magic the Gathering - Power Smash and Samba De Amigo have all been added to the Movie Vault as well as an updated Jet Set Radio video.
