Site NEWS July 13th 2008 - Yet another small update and one in memory and anger. You see, Thunder Force 6 has just been announced for the PlayStation 2 of all things and what rubs shit in to the faces of Sega Thunder Force fans is that Sega are producing the game. With the Dreamcast coming up to it's 10th anniversary in Japan this November and with Thunder Force 6 originally planned for the Dreamcast you'd expect Sega to make a Dreamcast version as well in celebration but oh no. What makes it even more annoying is that Thunder Force has always been a Sega hardware game apart from the very first Thunder Force that was released on the 8bit Japanese PC88 computer and Thunder Force V which also saw a PlayStation conversion. Thunder Spirits on the Super Famicom doesn't count because that was programmed by Toshiba, not Technosoft. So anyway, to make Sega Thunder Force fans feel happier I've uploaded footage from Thunder Force Gold Pack 1, Gold Pack 2 and Thunder Force V to the Saturn Movie Vault.
Fixed up a few glitches in Firefox 3, added a few posts and corrected a few in-accuracies to MaudeTheMini wwww.MaudeTheMini.uni.cc Mini Nutter Ryan
Yakumo allow me to say your site is really cool  ! I just checked it out a couple of days ago and it has tons of really interesting stuff  Couldn't watch your Retrocore vids yet, but that was due to a problem with Quicktime. And the savefile database is awesome. Congratulations, keep it up :icon_bigg
Thanks Tchoin  For Retro Core you need the XVID codec. Once you get that you should be fine. Yakumo
Site NEWS July 20th 2008 - Man, it's hot and it's not even August yet. You know, in times like this I wish I could go back to the UK. Japanese summers are too hot and humid. I really do miss the comfortable dry British summers. Anyway, Saturn fans will be happy to see the lovely update to the archive this week with the additions of Bakusho!! All Yoshimoto Quiz - Croc Pau Pau Island - Cross Romance - Earthworm Jim 2 - Idol Mahjong Final Romance 2 - Next King - Koi no Sennen Oukoku - Sankyo Fever Jikki Simulation S Vol.3 - Sankyo Fever Jikki Simulation S Vol.3 Bonus Pack - Standby Say You - Taikou Risshinden II - The King of Fighters Best Collection - Transport Tycoon - Ultraman Zukan 2 and Ultraman Zukan 3. I've also gave the links section a tidy up removing some of the dead links and adding Red Spot Games. Feel free to check out this independent Dreamcast publisher's site. Yakumo
New great videos added at www.satakore.com last week, always in the best possible quality. Also, 2 special pages added: - list of Sega Ages games released on the Sega Saturn (added 3 weeks ago) - list of Arcade Gears Series I pretty sure some of you will find them useful ;-)
I like the update, although I made a list of both series (and quite some others) for myself a long time ago. Still very nice indeed, I always look forward to any Satakore update ^_^
Site NEWS July 28th 2008 - Fans of the good old Taiwanese / Chinese original games are in for a treat this week with 3 additions to the Mega Drive section complete with videos! Added this week we have A Bug's Life - Hercules 2 and Super Donkey Kong '99. And if you think that is cool just wait for the other goodies coming in the next update. This week I had a "discussion" with one of the many internet brain boxes which actually means this person knows nothing. Anyway, this idiot insisted that the Sega Ages selection of games are exclusive to the PlayStation 2 because Sega prefer it over their own consoles. Yeah, whatever (-_-) So to put this "master of knowledge" back in his place I've added videos of all 13 Sega Saturn Sega Ages games. You can find them over in the "S" section of the Saturn Movie Vault. Yakumo
