    It's a pre retail development version of the game im still not sure how far into development the game is, I will need a USA Xbox to play it.

    I also have the regular USA retail game so when I recive the development version in the mail I will dump both onto my computer and compair the size and files of the 2.

    That looks very much like the many check discs I have had over the years and is most likely very near final, if not final code! (I have never had this particular disc though).

    How much did you pay for that if you don't mind me asking?

    This disc cost me $550 + shipping from another MGS collector, I did watch an auction on ebay last year and one of these sold for $680

    Most likely a final version of the game. Beta disks that are pressed are quite rare to see in the scheme of things, though its not unheard of. I was always under the impression that the MGS disk was a review disk though.

    Probably shouldnt have passed on the sub 100$ ones a while back.
