Children of Bodom was the soundtrack of my youth! BTW: Sepultura performed last year here in my city in a cloused theater, it was epic!
yeah Sepultura came to my town too but I couldn't attend the concert... it sucked to the max (that I could not go) I find that as I go older I keep hearing more and more of "classic" stuff like Ozzy, Dio etc... not bad but it seems I am turning into a geezer LOL
I was in a death metal band called Cardiac Arrest from 2004-2010, so, I recommend them. The newest album (which is the last one I played drums on) is called Vortex Of Violence, and is available va Amazon and Best Buy. Sample: Otherwise, I recommend Disrupt, Napam Death, Bolt Thrower, Severe TOrture, Life of Agony, and Crowbar.
I was really into power metal at one point, I still really like it but I've pretty much listened my self sick of it. Two of my favourite metal bands are Nightwish and Sonata Arctica, check them out I highly reccomend them.
Nightwish, fucking rocks. And so does Sonata Arctica, and I love Manowar, and so many other awesome Metal Bands Iron Maiden , is another and I could go on
