I'll rather have MGS4, or at least MGS3 with a slight graphic improvement.

That or Twin Snakes, but nowadays PSX graphics are cellphone-grade.

I think MGS4 and MGS3 would be kind of hard to stick on 350MB.

I don´t think, that Shadowlayer was talking about XLBA, when it comes to MGS 3 MGS 1 Twin Snakes version. But when I think of it, then the audio can always be compressed to the highest bitrate of MP3, or maybe some other compression. Or another bitrate in MP3. Or maybe some obscure audio format.

I'm just saying, something is better then nothing, although I think MGS4 will be on 360 eventually.

MGS is on PSN in Japan? WTF!

I wonder if it would run on my US machine. I should go look. It would be pretty cool to have the cut scenese etc in Japanese.

No MGS on PN. Though it is mentioned in one other section, but thats along with references to Super Mario and Metroid, among other things.

Doubt it...in it's current state, it'd take six DVD-9s to contain it. That'd be a lot of compressing of video and audio to get it on anything less.

come on, we all know developers use bluray a little differently. It wouldn't take 9 dvd's to fit MGS4 on the 360, if it ever came over. However, it would take time and money to optimize it for the 360 specs though.

Of course Konami is all about hyping up the ps3 and bluray, and how this game would never be on the 360. This game is flying off shelves for the ps3 right now. But a year from now when the hype dies down a little, and if it's economical enough to justify porting it over, I don't see why they wouldn't consider it. Granted, it was probably less work to do so, but they threw a MGS game over on the xbox awhile after it released on the ps2.

I'm just of the mindset of never saying never unless the game is a first party franchise.

Personaly I don't buy this atm since there has been no proof nor have I heard a confirmation from anybody on PN.

Also to who asked, all JPN games on PSN work on USA units. They are emulated. :p Personaly MGS1 is unbelievably fantastic on the psp but not so hot on ps3 (psp small screen just makes it look much nicer).

I meant in retail form, specially MGS3 which is in many ways a better game than MGS2 (which had one of the worst ports ever on the Xbox).

But MGS4? I think Konami is waiting for MS to become nervous and pay an outrageous sum to get it ported.

That or Sony already paid them said sum so it wont be ported...
