Scratch magnet? I don't know about you, but I don't haul my consoles around like handhelds. They stay safely tucked away near the TV. Unless you go into lunatic berserker rages from time to time, I don't understand how you'd get it all scratched up.
when you wipe your console it gets scratched, because the particles get between the cloth and the console. As the cloth drags accross the surface, the particles scratch it. Don't pretend you didn't know that Taucias! I like the Gunmetal colour, but I d have to wait and see it upfront and personal. I wish I had the money to get a Ps3, whatever the color, but preferably white or Gunmental =)
I've "dusted" my PS3 many times, and no scratches exist. Perhaps I just live in a house cleaner than most of you barbarians.
well all non-greeks are barbarians...so.. =p but it depends with what you clean it. Using what you use for your reading glasses is ideal and wont usually scratch the surface. However, using any paper-based piece of napkin will certainly scratch it.
Exactly:nod: About gunmetal, it will go perfectlu with my new watch thats also gunmetal, just like when I bought a GBA and GC both in indigo, and rode with them in my orange Dreamcast bike thru the street while people threw beer cans at me. Good times!:thumbsup:
Standard and LE MGS4 PS3 Bundles announced Hey! I used to be a member here from ages ago, but I guess my account no longer exists anymore. I had to create a new one and I lurked around for a little bit, but I guess I gotta contribute something now. So HELLO to anyone who might still vaguely remember me from a looooong time :icon_bigg Here's some PS3 info I picked up on today: Original Source The new PS3 80GB MGS4 bundle, US box art. Comes with the DualShock3!! (notice dualshock compatibility icon for the game shown on box bottom right). Next, Konami also announced that the Gunmetal MGS limited edition PS3 will also be coming stateside to the American market in VERY LIMITED QUANTITIES. (40GB version I assume, if it's the same as the Japanese version) Box art was also shown, just check out the official blog link for pictures and additional information. Well now that I'm back, I'll try to stick around regularly/occasionally, but I just wanted to see if there are still some old members around here, and I thought a "hello" post would be a waste of space when I've finally got something worthwhile to share. -SK
