Since I know all of you dont check the updated sites thread (Dont delete this one Paulo lol), i figured Ill post this here too. Microcosm for the CD-i was an unreleased port of a CD-rom game (or something, I believe). Ive posted a bunch of screenshots on my site, its really quite awesome looking.

This is just a video :\ There is one known copy of it, but they havent been able to rip it successfully. I grabbed the video off of a rare-ish demo disk that I got in a lot of stuff, so its really pretty cool. Not too much in the way of media available for the CD-i version.

If I recall...(my memory is fuzzy, as I haven't played it in years due to shittiness) Microcosm is a game where you essentially move a crosshair to shoot stuff while a FMV simulates you moving through a human body.

If I recall...the plot involves going into somebody's body to eliminate some disease. It came with our family's "Multimedia" PC back in 1994 or 1995. All interest in it was lost when we discovered Doom. Just another refugee from the land of FMV games.

Were already pushing our luck with what we've shared, so I think Assembler needs to make a decision on what should be there. I dont want this to be the place that spreads files, there are hundreds of sites out there that do the same thing.

STOP asking for things to be shared! If anyone wishes to share something they will.

Nothing wrong with asking something, only when you keep asking

I remember, back through the mists of time, the day the CD32 was released here in the UK.

I was with two friends (twin brothers), and one was being sent out to purchase the unit and two games.

Brother 1 : "Now here is the money - don't get crap looking games - no Microcosm!

Brother 2 : "I get it, okay! No Microcosm!"

Hours passed as we worked on our game 'Prototype' - an Operation Wolf style mouse-controlled shooter - waiting for the next lump of plastic-encased gaming bliss to arrive.

    Finally, 'Brother 2' arrived home.

"Here, get it open!" he said handing his brother the bag.

"Arrrgh! MICROCOSM!!!!!!!" Screamed 'Brother 1' as he looked in the bag, and proceeded to pummel his brother with one of the metal bars from their weight bench (true story).

We duly set the machine up, and popped in Microcosm. Less than half an hour later, we were too overcome by boredom to do anything else but turn off the CD32 and get back to work.

Microcosm - so bad I don't even remember what the other game was - we didn't even try it out.

    Hello all,
My name is Bas and I am the creator of Interactive Dreams, a website dedicated to CD-i. I found your attention thanks to some coverage of Dead End I posted a few months back, and this is a very nice place for even more unreleased stuff. However, I found this topic and realized I still had to put up some videos of the CD-i prototype game, and I posted it right here (click here)

There's a link to my original preview of CD-i microcosm and how we originally got it.

Awesome videos, and nice link to my site :) I hope that the disk someday becomes available, if only so I can get some higher quality material out of it.
