Microsoft now claiming graphics quality not important !!! WTF?

Gawd, I'd love it if they restarted Saturn production, lol.

and all this war long, they claimed they were they used the graphical power to sell their system. i remember when they invaded an electronic store (futureshop) talking everywhere to every consummers on the floor how way better was their systems because it had the best graphics and power, that the competition literally sucked because they couldn't stand the power of their beast. they even stop a lady to buy a gamecube for her kid because the xbox was so much more powerful than this kiddy toy that would broke in 2 days. She returned the gamecube back on the shevles and took an xbox for this reason, convinced. and now because sony is more powerful they suddently change of position claiming power isn't what is important. Seriously, let me laugh.

 

It does seem to look like they are fucked. If the PS3 is even half as powerful as Sony are suggesting - they're just won't be any opposition.

 

It's still relatively early.

 

For all we know Sony could be talking out of their arse about the power of the PS3. They did it with the PS2, didn't they. We'll just have to wait and see.

sounds like microsoft is scred beond belief about the power of the PS3 is that movie of killzone is actually 100% ingame then they are soo seriously fuckered.

 

Well with the current stuff that is going around about the Killzone movie, it seems less and less believable.

Microsoft has truly flip-flopped now, but it's still to early to judge for certain on all three-fronts (lest we forget the Revolution in all of this -P).

 

I think they are relying on what nintendo said (don't know what sony said on that side, tho, but something makes me think that theyr response will pop out in less time), just to cover theyr arses in case they are right...but as ever, i could be wrong...

 

Yeah, I remember seeing some very impressive visuals before the PS2 came out. The screenshots I saw were actually quite similar to the quality I'm seeing now, only a lot fuzzier .

 

But then again they speeded up PS2 development to counter Dreamcast. PS2 was meant to be more powerfull originally.

The next-generation does look like another impressive leap.

 

MS just threw in the towel.

 

The 360 (unveiling) was bad, they just threw somthing together so they can say its was shown.

i have really big doubts about that killzone movie realtime there should currently no emulation unit that could produce this quality in realtime i think at least nothing in the pc/mac area and a cell unit hasnt be ironed to silicium or did i miss something ?

 

im questioning microsfts ability to stay afloat, i mean there doing all this ridiculess crap to make sure their system will stand a chance, im seeing nintendo playing it the smartest, and mind you this stuff shown on ps3 is not even final, as was with the ps2, same with saturn, there were some demos shown running on saturn that were better then the final product, the point is i feel that sony is baisicly going to make the same mistake as nintendo did and not pay attention to the fact that the competion could easily over throw them.
