    First post here

OK I'm just thinking outside the box here (or inside it even :p ) anyways I have purchased a NTSC dreamcast and I live in OZ. I understand that getting a step down converter or replacing the PSU is the easiest option but what if I were to replace the PSU with a mini ITX one? They appear to have the same output voltages and it would be just a 12V input (easier to get adaptors) sizing would definately be a concern but I'm just wondering if it is feasible?

I can't see any reason why it wouldn't work - I have run a DC main board of a couple of DC-DC converters without any problems.

That's electricity, so it's just a matter to provide the right thing to the right place. But that would be a lot of trouble for just powering a DC. Just take a DC PSU from your region and put it inside your NTSC DC.

240v dc PSUs are insanely expensive :(
yeah an ITX psu will do the trick (I was thinking about this the other day)
get the biggest you can so you can have room for mods like an intergrated ide hdd inside a kareokee kit..
