I would rather eat at Hardees or Burger king, but I dont go to fast food places much. They do have good fries, though. But they are pure cholesterol sticks with a thick salty coat...
last time i ate there i got a big stomache poisionig and diarhea bigtime(the day after) and a bad case of gas went off my arsecrack by an accident because i was hit in the stomache to the Tim Tackett Jun Fan Fan Jeet Kune Do seminar sadly i stopped to JKD for some months ago because the new trainer is a fuckwit and an emptybrained numbskull (and i could go on with curses) and i love JKD :smt022 and :smt067 :smt071 MC D
Honestly, I don't eat fast food that much. The three biggest burger chains in my area are McDonalds, Burker King, and Wendy's. There's a few White Castles and Rally's, but they're not even a factor. I prefer Wendy's. The quality there is so far beyond Burger King or McDonalds...It's still fast food though...so don't expect any miracles. Anecdote Time: I live in Columbus, Ohio, which happens to be the location of the world headquarters of Wendy's International. The first restaurant is in Downtown Columbus. Anyhoo, my friend David, who is also a hoarder of video games, has a dad who always had interesting stories to tell, and coincidentally worked in Columbus. During the time he did, he would often get lunch at a little place called Wendy's. A few times a week, he'd go in, and converse and be served by Dave Thomas, founder of Wendy's. I know it may not seem too interesting to you, but for as long as I can remember, up until...2002 I believe, when he died, he was still actively involved in his company, and was constantly on TV, because he was also the pitchman for Wendys. He was quite the Celebrity. Quite the celebrity who used to make hamburgers for my pal's dad.
Man, I wish we had Hardees around here, those were pretty good. Wendy's has to be my favorite, followed closely by Burger King. Of course, I'm a huge Taco Bell fan as well - gotta love the $.99 Value Menu.
A colleague of mine put it well one day as we were walking the streets on our lunchbreak. "Wait a minute, wait a minute.... I make too much mother fuckin' money to eat at McDonalds!" Anyone with a job does.
You know something guys, I stopped eating fast food, and started working out, and have lost 35 lbs. That shit will kill you. Stay away from it. I still do partake of the occasional Taco Hell....
I'm starting to quit eating at places like those. I'm starting to cook my own food and bring my own lunch. It's that working out part I need to literally start on.
i love homemade food so if anyone wants to visit DK i will invite you all to eat swedish meatballs with a danish twist called frikadeller and not swedish meatballs and many other things ;-) peace from here WolverineDK
I laugh everytime I hear the name Hardee's since thats the hick name for Carl's Jr I ate at one somewhere across the country, they have a slightly bizzare menu compared to what Carl's Jr has. (Roast Beef and Grilled Cheese sandwiches???) Carl's Jr was my favorite fast food chains alongside "In and Out Burger" (which are pretty popular with Californians, my friends drove 20 miles at lunch time in highschool to go there...) I despise Carl's for their other chains such as La Salsa and Green Burrito, my god. This country is so out of the loop with Mexican food.
Speak for yourself. Texas has some fantastic "Mexican" food (tex mex really). You just need to go to a place heavily populated in illegal immigrants.
I would eat my own excrement before I would eat at any of the previously mentioned establishments. Actually, I would eat someone else's excrement before eating at McDonalds.
Texmex can be blargh. And yes, I've had plenty, nearly all I ever ate in Austin. I guess I shouldn't have spoken against the Mexican food when there is such a Japanese food crisis. What happened to Japanese people preparing Japanese food? Koreans can usually put out eatable food but Chinese owned J resturants don't even try. I've had J cooking classes and have a Japanese expatriot housewife friend to call upon when in doubt so I'm pretty sure I can still make less mediocre food :smt023
