The funniest thing is looking on the ISO sites no one cares... they are all waiting for oblivion to be cracked.

Lots of the iso forums are crashing because of the wait of the game being released on usenet and p2p networks.

Just as bad as half life 2 and gta.

Hah, so am I. I need a no-DVD crack or something, since my DVD drive is screwed up. I'll be lucky if I can install the game without it jamming on me.

As much as I don't like EA, I feel bad for them. This is a huge loss (well, it would be if anyone wanted the game).

Don't ever feel bad for EA. They have done enough damage to the game industry that they deserve to suffer some (Note: this does not advocate or endorse piracy in any way, merely my contempt for the company that gutted Westwood Studios).

    Indeed.
And those of you who are thinking of pirating Oblivion, don't.

Sorry but I must disagree, you really shouldn't/can't advocate (or accept) one form of piracy in my opinion while simultantious denying another. EA may be the big bad wolf of the industry but that doesn't mean it's employees families are any less starving then Bethusda.

It was more your phrasing, you were of the appearance of agreeing with a couple of other comments that at the very least stated it was good that EA was suffering but Bethusda doesn't deserve to. Sorry if that isn't what you meant.

no big thing, i just think people should support the lesser i.p.'s and not go in for the latest big name game from EA they should learn to make good games not just distribute them

You might want to pick a different board to promote that sentament... Sony, Nintendo and Microsoft all watch this board. They kind of turn a blind eye to the sale of dev equipment around here, but if this place were to outright support piracy it would be shut down faster than you can blink...

Just to clear things up, I'm not pirating Oblivion. My DVD drive is about to bite the dust, and I need to play the game without the DVD. I have the Collector's Edition on preorder, and I'm going to pick it up tommorow if the store has it in.

I hope I didn't make anyone think I actually pirate games [IMG].
