NOOOOO!!!! I popped in Shikigami No Shiro III today for a blast only to find that ALL the audio is recorded at a low sample rate and in mono!! How on earth could this get past the play testing with such poor audio? I read the instructions, checked every single option yet nothing to enable stereo sound. This is a real let down since the OST is a vital part to any shooter. I think I'll go back to playing Shikigami No Shiro II on my Dreamcast. Not only is it in stereo but looks better to boot ! So, sofar we have Guitar Heroes and Shikigami No Shiro II that are in mono on the Wii. Are there any other games out there? I'll still keep the game though because this is defiantly going to be a rare title. The only shop in this and the next city that sell it is Toys R Us! Not one indie has it or any other chain. They all have crap such as Crazy Climber Wii though  Yakumo
Mono? Wow. And i thought that 2000 would had bought us stereo phonics even in cell phones  They really wanted to get low on costs didnt they .
Oh no, now the cringeably localized dialogue won't be as funny! :110: "I like girls... but now, it's about justice" I've never played SNS3 but I regularly break out my US copy of II for some good old laughter... or is III different in that regard?
Speaking of GH3 Wii's mononess, if you need to get a replacement version in Dolby 5.1, look no further: http://www.activisiongameexchange.com/ ...except if you're not from the US, I think. In which you'll have to call up Activision about it.
HAHa yes! I have the U.S. copy of Shikigami no Shiro - Mobile Light Force 2 lol  SNS3 does not have the sh*t artwork, menus, etc...its how the game originally is/should be.
Like most Wii owners could tell the difference anyway, you should be happy you have it on your console. As for SNS3 being sold only in Toys 'R Us, maybe the shops in your neck of the woods think it's a bit too racy for a Wii title, as I've found it in a number of mainstream stores including the supermarket place owned by the 7-11 company (and this is in Saitama) and you can fall over the piles of games of it in Tokyo.
Interesting. I wonder why here in Yamaguchi and Kyushu it's so rare? I remember seeing a promo video for this and it also mentioned a 360 version. Not seen it down here though, how about in Tokyo? Yakumo
I'm calling for a boycott of the that game until they bring it to 360 in this country. The Wii is Wiiak
It's funny but it's true (Like seinfield!) It's a gimmick, it's a gimmick. Please. When the DS came out, it was a bunch of gimmick games yeah. But now look what we have, a beautiful handheld that is AWESOME. The fact remains, the DS is now a power house with it's software. And the wii is going to be the same way gimmick games at first, a few gems, and then the gems will increase. No more Heroes, Smash Brawl, etc. Whats that? You want your OBSCURE JAPANESE SHOOTER on an AMERICAN CONSOLE? Okay. You're going to boycott this game until it hits the 360? Well, since you abhore the wii and don't own one, you wouldn't be buying the game anyway since it's not heading there so your boycott does nothing. Black history month is coming up, you should probably study up on the bus boycott. It might help you out with your future boycotts...you know, make them...useful? ish?
The Magnavox Odyssey was seen as a gimmick. Arcade machines were seen as a gimmick. Pong was seen as a gimmick. Colour computer games were seen as a gimmick. Cartridge-based video games were seen as a gimmick. Violence in a video game was seen as a gimmick. CD-based games were seen as a gimmick. 3D was seen as a gimmick. Realistic graphics were seen as a gimmick. Haptic feedback was seen as a gimmick. Touch-screens were seen as a gimmick. And now motion control is seen as a gimmick. All innovation in video games since their inception have been originally seen as gimmicks and seen as having no future.
you forgot video games as a whole were thought of as a gimmick edit: I also love the fact you say the wii is a gimmick and you won't support gimmicks but you're going to buy guitar hero 2 an 3
