It'll likely come to the 360 here in the States. Just wait for it then.

Would saying I just hate Nintendo (even though I own and somewhat enjoy a DS) be more acceptable an answer?

All it does is blacken your already dodgy rep. Sixaxis is a gimmick. Wii-mote is a key feature of the hardware and utilised in every game to some degree.

A slight correction if you permit, Sixaxis is a piss poorly implemented, second thought in each of its uses gimmick [shaking the controller is kinda fun during Heavenly Sword though]. The only way that it will cease to be a gimmick is if that thing we do in platform games where we jerk the controller so as not to miss the platform, were to actually help, like it makes the character stretch out his/her legs or reach out to grab the platform. That would actually be awesome.

Now Mono in ANY game, regardless of system or reason, is completely inexcusable. Even Pong deserved stereo.

Even that wouldn't save it. You have to do that in Sonic and the Secret Rigs on the Wii and it's F*ing annoying

I just don't understand why Nintendo must think that all Wii owners care a shit about graphics and sound. Werent they the guys who invented smooth 3D with their N64? But they were never sound whores, maybe thats why they are developing backwars currently.

Like a frog that looses his tail b/c it's useless. Or a pope.

I'm really sure I saw somewhere a game like that made for blind people.

I do sometimes wonder how many 360/PS3 owners have a proper HDTV (as very few people I know do - but admittedly it is the UK), and equally how many Wii owners are using it on a TV with a really crap scaler thus making it look like a bag of nails.

yes, I run my Wii on a PC monitor at 1680x1050. RE4 looks scary, in a bad way.

I use my PC on a CRT HD TV via the D4 Terminal with no problems at all.

You know what is odd though, if I run a Mega Drive on my TV via the XRGB box it looks like shit but run it through standard composite and the result is very nice. Anyone have any ideas why?

I find that the scalers in monitors tend towards being iffy - my old Samsung LCD monitor can happily display 800x600 (such as the Windows XP boot screen) quite nicely and full-screen, but my girl's lappy looks like a blocky mess. Both display their native resolution fine.

How does the Windows logo look on yours?

I wish that HDTV suppliers would stop messing us about. It is a sad state of affairs that many people cannot enjoy the Wii to its full extent because they can't build a good TV despite them being a TV company :(

    Uh? Zooms?

it depends on the graphics' mix. Ikaruga looks ok, and Galaxy doesn't look noticeably worse compared to my previous lower resolution monitor (1280x1024)

Since only CRTs can match the real correct resolution plus the fact that the signal transferred from my 360 and the Wii are in analog modulation makes the quality on my monitor "not as good".

The lower the resolution you feed new monitors, the more crap you ll have to put up with really, since they keep their native 1680x1050 (for example) resolution yet scale the source image from its native resolution to 1680x1050 (poorly). DVI really stands out, and my computer really makes good use of it too.

Yeah, I thought the game does widescreen because it zooms into the picture to get rid of the black border on the top and bottom, sort of like on an HDTV when you hit zoom. If I hit zoom on my HDTV on the GC version, it looks about the same: nasty. It does get rid of the bars though.
