I have yet to play that game. Is it single or multiplayer? Was there a special edition of this, I thought I remembered a boxset or special pack fot this game?

you mean renpou Vs zeon DX? imho DC port is better than PS2 at leaset in visual term... however side story 0079 is worth to play as well...

I'm collecting PS2 titles at the moment and only titles missing are AEUG Vs Titanz, Gundam Vs Zeta Gundam and One Year War... I've been waiting for either Asia release or Korea release

No there is no premium box but premium disc that you can get from Bandai in Japan.
This is basically expansion disc where you can participate in battle simulation with Amuro in his RX-78-3. It's very tough and you need JPN Side story 0079 save data in order to run.

was Gundam G-Savior got very limited run in Japan?
I got my sealed copy for 890 yen so don't think it was that rare?

G-Savior movie DVD was pure classic B grade telly movie...
I was surprised someone in US would make live drama based on Gundam though.

Ah, okay, I had seen artwork for the cover somewhere, and thought it said Premium Box. It is compatable with VMU data from the US release, or will it just work with the Japanese 0079 data?
And it it very hard to come across?

 

no only for JP save data.

I believe there was an eBay seller who used to sell this one for around $19 or something few years ago...

 

I've been on the mission to complete my Gundam collection for SS/PS1/PS2 for a while now and my latest addiiton is JPN G-Saviour from Sunrise. The game is based on B-movie grade telly movie of same name. Yep they did make a Gundam live action movie and it was stinker!

anyway I will update with the game play later but so far the game is entirely in English with Japanese subtitle... Sure the menu itself is in Japanese but it's not too hard to navigate...
