MSX2 vs Nes "Another fun debate"

I know, i was a little upset that day also the Youtubers & other forums fanboyism + people biased towards Nintendo of what's gotten to me personally and started lashing out like so, yea know and as i said before i deeply apologise about my behavior plus calling the thread "retarded" was uncalled for and what really ticked me off a bit.

 

DSwizzy, do you even own an MSX of any kind? It sounds more like you just watched YouTube videos of all the MSX games you mentioned (or read about them) rather than actually playing them on a real system.

 

MSX < NES < MSX2/+

Of course the SMS and PCE were also superior to the NES, but software support (and backroom exclusivity deals) triumphs over hardware, always

 

And? i admit though i did kinda & i have actually PLAYED the games on a emulator before FYI! That like saying if i was talking about how great the Famicom was and making up all sorts of crap but in fact that my vaild point was invalid about the system and how inferior it is over the MSX2! But ya know who Hasn't played any retro computer system emulator before?! Your compliants are like if i was a huge fan of the Sharp X68000 but in fact i don't own one IRL & call BS to whoever think it's trash & thinks the SNES was better than it! Though you possibly might think so throwing the whole "Sales/Selling" card.

 

Konami on MSX. Antartic Adventure, Metal Gear, Gradius, The Maze of Galious, Yie Ar Kung Fu, Kings Valley ... incredible games.

 

I was under the impression that the MSX had difficulty with scrolling backgrounds, which is a pretty big deal. The NES at least had pretty decent scrolling.

Uh, most of those except for King's Valley and the MSX version of Metal Gear are on the NES/Famicom.

True but did it do better than the Nes/Famicom? I didn't think so.. :/ and also no it isn't is the fact you have that "Nintendo does best!" sorta type mentallity is what ticked me off a bit but I digress and also have YOU played ANY of the MSX2 games before cuz it sounds like your just picking sides and going by what the majority is telling me. But its whatever man not everyone likes Nintendo (besides the entire internet & Youtube gaming community) and the fact you hate to agree but to disagree about how well MSX could possibly match up with the Nes imho! Except that in reality you hold unpopular opinions and assert them as fact without any objectivity. If you had points to make some people might even agree with you. So far your argument is that you prefer Konami's MSX ports over their NES ports...

 

And your probably absolutely right about that BUT.. ya know even if I try to expand or express my opinions towards people about the MSX/2 they wouldn't bother to pay any attention at all but if I add Nintendo's name to the bunch then some possibly would so maybe or maybe not, though the percentage of that likely to happening is less. But then again this IS the mayority of the internet that blindly sides Nintendo because said numbers of YouTube e-celebs tells you to like them only and while the others e.g SEGA are the bottom of the barrel and crap like that pisses me off to the roof of the celing! And its unfair cuz of that and spreading misinformation about the others of said company!
