not much to see really, and seeing some collections here on the site kinda makes me feel like left out kinda sad that the most vintage machine i have is actually a SNES :\ oh well, gotta start somewhere they say. the pics are missing PSP since it's on loan on a friend atm. most of the games are also absent, they're stored elsewhere. Mainly just ps2 games and nothing out of the usual in any case. also, the quality is HORRIBLE (phone cameras FTW)
thanks it's not much of a collection yet as stated. this is mainly just gathered for use so there's no items at all for purely collection purposes (yet) it's also missing all the stuff i had prior to the SNES. i was so small kiddo back then that it didnt' even cross my mind to keep a NES when mom bought me a SNES but a start is a start and i swear to <insert something awesome here> that one day i will have a dev ps2 sitting there and my life will be complete and yup. the ps2 is a casemod (about my first "proper one") it's a V9 satin silver model and i find the silver color ugly as hell. Originally planned ot just paint it black but i like pink so here we are. the actual mod also comes with a 120mm fan mounted under the "PS2" logo but i haven't dared to permanently destroy the case for that yet so it still looks pretty standard. i have a pic of it with the fan in place (without the hole naturally) i'll post it later on when i find it also noticed that the pics are missing my other ps2. it's just a pink slim one so i don't think it's worth to add a pic.
No need to downplay your collection. All collections have to start somewhere. All that matters is that you value your collection, no matter how big or small it is.
here's a bit better pic of the ps2, with the fan on the side the keyboard is for linux and irc use, kept it there for quite a while since it looks so badass. i'll attach it sooner or later when i get enough money to buy a new case after destroying the current one ^.^ the flashback is practically unused btw played it once but it's way too hard for my tastes. Still a nice game and i just LOVE the graphics on it.
Feel the Flashback love! Give it another bash some time. When it clicks it's one of the best journeys of that gen imo.
A video game collector is truly dedicated to his collection if he buys an N-Gage, even though it's crap. Nice pimped-out PS2
the N-Gage was a gift from work at the time i was working on nokia services shop. it's an unused unit i got since it's such an old model and they had tons of swap units laying around. no use for factory swaps when no existing device has a valid warranty it's quite suitable to be a portable NES actually the emulators available run from good to great and 2Gb MMC support gives it sufficient memory
so far yes. i haven't had it for too long yet and since i recently bought a ps3, the interest towards the gamecube diminished quite effectively i paid 30€ for the cube so it was more like the kind of "ok, i'll just buy it since it's so cheap" type of thing. there's few games i plan on getting but as for now, paying off a new HDTV and getting few ps2 and ps3 related items have top priority
one more for the evergroving start of a collection this poor thing i salvaged after the previous owner dropped it and effectively destroyed the DVD drive from it. nothing a good old fashioned rebuild won't fix tho
and another small set of newcomers from topleft to bottom right: - satin silver stand for phat ps2 (sealed) - component cables for psp - silver GameBoy micro (sealed) - golden sun second hand, i got it as a bonus with the gameboy for 45€ so it was a nice deal overall. - This obscure thing is called "N-Gage gamecard glove" set me down 1€ so had to buy it just for the odd factor never seen one and this one is still sealed so i guess it makes a part of the collection. And i do have an N-Gage anyway. and as last a random UMD movie i bought just for the sake of having one.
