That's a mighty impressive collection you have there ! Thanks for sharing it with us. But I do have one question and one I send out to all collectors. Why the hell do you own multiple copies of the same machines and games ?? I can understand if there are differences but when they are the same it's pointless in my eyes.

Oh, you wouldn't happend to be from Mersyside at all would you?

I own two Dreamcasts because one was in basically new condition and I didn't feel like popping it open to mod it. I usually will own two copies of the same game if it's rare and I pick up the second copy for a steal.

That's a very nice collection, by the way. I love the Maziora Dreamcasts.

Thanks I like to try and collect sealed games if possible. I visit Japan quite often so if I find anything cheap I usualy buy it or if I see something on Yahoo cheap I will buy it.
I love the different colour schemes and the packaging of the Japanese Saturn and Dreamcast with the Dreamcast being my favourite machine.
I am trying to get all of the Limited edition Dreamcasts I am quite lucky as I have a couple of good contacts in Japan who find alot of them for me.
I live in the Midlands but I havent got a brummy accent!
I do support Birmingham City though!!

i must say that is quite a collection, especially your mega drive collection, there are some titles you have such as teenage mutant ninja turtles that i have never seen the japanes version of, as well i didnt even know sega sold a mega drive pack that included virtua racing, i mean you even have the japanese power base converter. Great collection though, thanks for the post.

  9. Niceeeeee dude. Your PC Engine collection is the freakin' balls, man. I'm especially like Darius Alpha and Sapphire. Those two games alone must of cost you a small fortune.

Thanks!!! I wouldnt like to think how much I have spent on it both,
of the white pc engines are brand new never used 3 of the 4 coregrafx 2 are brand new, the cd rom is brand new, the shuttle is brand new and one of the gt handhelds is also brand new. All of the boxed joypads are also new never used.
Also around 70% of the pc engine games are sealed!!

  11. How hard was it tracking down the Megadrive version of NBA Jam? I know the Japanese Acclaim releases are rare.

It seems everyone was impressed so I'm sorry to be the first to say I am not. Judging by your pictures you collect games just to have them. Most of those are sealed and I'm not a fan of collecting sealed games. You do have a lot of shit though, I'll give you that.

Wow, that is definitely one of the most impressive collections I've ever seen.

Do you keep the duplicates around for purposes of appreciation and eventual sale, or do you just like having backups?
